Seen as it's coming up to Halloween and you're exploring more horror theme movies I'd like to recommend The Black Phone. It's not a full on horror. More of a psychological thriller with a couple of jump scares. But Ethan Hawke and the 2 kids are great and the second one is coming out next month. Looks much scarier. Don't look up any trailers or you'll ruin stuff

2025-09-27 18:03:00 +0000 UTCOkay, I have a recommendation. I know you don't often react to anime. But for whatever poll, I recommend Windbreaker. It is a wholesome anime with some serious subjects. It is heavy on character development. Even when an arc has "ended" you know the development hasn't and that they will continue to evolve. You would love it and I think you'd have a lot to say throughout in the best of ways.
