I have a humble request about shows/movies for future watches🙏🏽

I've noticed something recently that I want to address. When I'm starting a new show/movie, and you're not interested or don't like it. I would like to not know about it. Those comments and statements might have a chance to taint some of my views before even embarking on the show/movie. Let me decide for myself. No matter how mentally reinforced you are, we're human; negative thoughts seep in sometimes. I might really really enjoy something you don't find interesting or straight-up bad. I would really appreciate this the same way I appreciate not having spoilers of any kind.

It's different if you're dropping a trigger warning or something you're concerned about me encountering. I appreciate that so greatly, and it makes me feel cared for. But if it's just how much you dislike something or how uninteresting it is to you, truthfully, I don't know how much that helps me. Especially when the majority of the members voted for that. Like, what is the alternative? Do I cancel reacting to that show after people have voted on it? I'm not trying to censor your voice. It's important to voice out things we don't like. However, in this context of me reacting to something I haven't watched before, it doesn't help me much.

I hope this is not coming off as aggressive, but this has happened more times than I would like. And I've said multiple times that I already do some spoiler-free research on all these shows before they even arrive on the poll. Making sure that I am at the very least ok with them. On the off chance that I start watching something that I don't like or don't find interesting, please trust that I will be honest, and I'll let you guys know. I doubt you guys would want to see me continue watching something I don't enjoy.
