2025-06-22 00:43:10 +0000 UTCenjoying watching this series for the first time with you! im kind of in shock from that ending so i apologize if my comment rambles. like i noticed that server kept getting screwed over by the family (even cousin greg hogging the joint in that first scene lol) and wondered if he was going to be important — but not like that!!!! poor guy. also im weirdly glad theyre going this direction with marcia’s character now because i was really disagreeing with you about her in the earlier episodes. i think i was suspicious of her because they weren’t (and still rly aren’t) showing hardly any of her perspective or motives aside from supporting logan. also, though, i feel like i’ve met women like her who say very “gracious” things but are experts in accumulating quiet judgements to use in vulnerable moments. anyways idk what else to say after that finale. i like the tall boys (tom and cousin greg) and i love willa and hope she finds all of the success. looking forward to season 2!

I can’t even think of a show that does it so well to make you sympathize with the guy literally fucking everything up (Bojack Horseman is probably the closest example I can think of) For anyone that’s ever made a mistake (obviously nothing to this magnitude omg) and you could feel your life tilt and shake and knew it could never be the same… they showed this feeling so well. Like, he went hunting for drugs and abandoned a drowning kid and didn’t even have the guts to stand there and own up to it all. Yet, I wanted to sob for him when he was in the bathtub, knowing how he was absolutely desperate to run from it and erase it and cover it. The same for Roman when he watched the rocket explode. Suddenly, life crumbles and you could see the shock and panic in every movement. Obsessed with our married couple and their complexity as well. And hate watching our faux Bernie make a deal with Logan, even if it helps his chances.

2025-06-01 19:56:36 +0000 UTCAh, yes...the festivus of cringe and disbelief that is this finale...the Shakesperian levels of highs and lows, the one-upsmanship, the get-backs, the muthufricken ***L's***. ::sigh :: Oh, Kendal... Our boy Tom (and his boy Greg, lol) loves Shiv---he also wants to be rich and powerful; so those opposing energies (power vs. Self-respect) are throttling him. A "shiv" is a knife...she's sure starting to act like one. Someone tell me why: After Roman watches the rocket explode-- and he literally "washes his hands" of his culpability in it...that we hear the Squick, squick, squick Of him washing his hands...made me think of him jerking off in front of his office window...overwhelming responsibility + having to see ( glass looking out onto a city/mirror reflecting your face )...Roman is out of his depths . Kendall's collateral damage? Daddy'll fix it. Oh, and Connor? Nightmare fuel of what can become of a poor little rich (white)boy determined to "fail upwards"--it's how Trump has survived and thrived his evil ass into one of the most powerful positions in the world. But, like Game of Thrones that wheel of fate will keep spinning. I've said too much: see you in the next season, Frank.
