Thank you so much for your emotionally intelligent and empathetic response to Andrea’s conversation. People just don’t seem to get the “opting-out” choice, because they assume everyone should fight to survive this hellscape. Most people act like she’s being stupid & ungrateful. I think she has every right to break off a relationship she doesn’t want. We love Dale, but she doesn’t want a surrogate father and that’s fine. And even if it’s the “wrong choice”, no one wants their choices taken away from them.

2025-05-30 01:20:04 +0000 UTCWorld War Z the movie had unrealistically fast zombies. It was initially supposed to be based off of Max Brooks's book of the same title. That book was like a documentary of interviews around the world post-zombie apocalypse with incredible writing. The zombies in the book were super slow (more similar to TWD zombies), the scary part about them was was there were so many and they would advance on you in a horde, an entire army fighting them and there would just be more and more. It was still a truly helpless situation without the ridiculous interpretation of zombies the movie had. Sorry, I just love the book so much, the mention of the movie sets me off on a rant. 😂
