Totally anecdotal of course, but I’ve known a few wealthy people - and YES they were all very weird in a bad way lol. They were all also the most egotistical and self-centered people I’ve ever known too. I think it’s a bit of a chicken or the egg thing, but my guess is those traits help a person get (or keep if they inherit it) their riches. And then the nature of money and power keeps feeding into them.
