So interesting to hear what you have to say about Hannibal. I watched Killing Eve when it was out live and loved it (mostly) but couldn’t make it through season 1 of Hannibal while watching with a friend. I’ve considered trying to watch it on my own but I think after hearing your comments, I should leave it as a DNF lol 😂 this show and the Blacklist are much more my speed of “killing is ok” tv

Part of the course is to study an episode of 2 crime dramas, which change each year. Sadly last year the set texts were Killing Eve and Black Mirror! 😭 finding that out crushed me because I just missed studying two shows i loved watching (makes exams so much easier when you like the set texts). I watched KE when it came out but never finished it, so I’m going to finish it now on your patreon 😁

2025-04-13 21:51:48 +0000 UTCI can't say that I saw it coming but I also didn't expect them to just start making out (much as I wanted them to). The way I see it Eve was wildly exhausted and spiralling with mixed feelings. She put the knife in her pocket before she grabbed the gun. I don't think she planned to lure Villanelle into bed and stab her. I don't think she knew whether she was going to stab her or kiss her until the last moment. She had the means and the opportunity and she impulsively went for it just like she impulsively smashed up Villanelle's apartment. The way Villanelle said "I really liked you. It HURTS" and she's talking about being stabbed but also betrayal and vulnerability and UUUUUUGH it hurt me too :(((
