David trying to help a teenager that is basically himself, one of my favorite scenes in all of television. It still makes me laugh. ❤️

He just went "the heart wants what it wants, man" and went right back to his pork. Good for you, Roland.

Now, first about her actions: I love Alexis, but she’s being uncool where Mutt and Twyla are concerned. She definitely is attracted to Mutt, and inserts herself in his and Twyla’s relationship at times in a saboteur kind of way (and DEFINITELY flirts w/him). I just think she may not always consciously understand what she’s doing. And as far as her warning to Twyla about the song? I think she’s doing two things - being nice to Twyla while also encouraging her to talk to Mutt because she knows they’ll break up if she does. So I think it was a kindness to Twyla while also being self serving. It’s difficult for me to see David’s actions on par w/Alexis’s. I don’t think it ever feels good to watch someone you’ve started having sex with flirting with someone else in front of you. But it’s even more complicated w/Stevie. David knows he really cares about Stevie at this point. And now that they’ve been intimate, he clearly is unsure how to feel about that aspect. I’ve been there before, and it can make you feel vulnerable and defensive, and I think that made him act out and be petty. And of course, he and Stevie weren’t exclusive, heck, you couldn’t even really have called them an item yet. Despite that, it actually kind of annoyed me that she was being so obvious to David in her flirting and attraction to Grant, as well as flaunting their going out on a date. Yes, she absolutely should have pursued that if she wanted. But she had the upper hand there, and because of that, the obviousness felt a little cruel (which likely also comes from a place of unsure vulnerability). I just felt she could have had some consideration for David and reigned it in in front of him.
