All of these shows have a current theme of our capacity for change and ability/wanting to do better and are somewhat hopeful in their own way. If you enjoy the philosophical aspects of The Good Place, Bojack is a good show to contrast that. The Good Place is hopeful and upbeat and Bojack is more nihilistic

And while I haven't yet, I think I will give The Haunting of Hill House a go when I have a chunk of time to catch up as I have meant to watch it for a while. The Wire and Hannibal are not really for me, but in a way that's a relief, because I don't think I have enough time in my week!

I have to say right now The Wire is my fav. Really enjoying Hannibal and The Good Place. HH is good & Ill be psyched if you watch Midnight Mass. Truthfully, I'm watching everything except D. Girls.
