Added 2025-01-05 00:13:46 +0000 UTCHappy New Year✨ We made it into 2025! I have a feeling it's going to be an amazing year! I can't imagine all the things we will watch and experience on this channel. Cheers to that🥂.. So here's the gist, watching 5 shows and 1 movie every week made me realize that on weeks such as this, when I have to take a day off in the middle of the week to do all the life stuff or teach a class - one of the shows/movie spots has to be moved to the next week. I don't anticipate it happening often. Think of it as a rotation. The release order remains the same. Every show and its viewers will get an adequate amount of screen time.
Unfortunately this week, the "movie" took the short end of the stick (based on the previous week's release order). So next week's schedule will start with a movie! I hope I explained that properly. And for anyone asking, "Can't he just record multiple shows/movies in a day".. (Which is a very valid question). Unfortunately, the answer is no. Just no. Thank you for all your understanding🙏🏾💛😄

I love that all your activities are actually wind "down" activities. That's such a good perspective on why you watch reaction videos. That's true watching new stuff takes more brain power honestly.

My favourite way to unwind is to drink tea, meditate, listen to music, or watch reaction videos of movies and tv shows that I love. New shows and movies require more focus and attention and I can feel alone, as opposed to reaction videos where I feel like I'm hanging out with a friend.. Much appreciation for all you do!

So yeah the Creator did come out saying he made crumbs compared to what Netflix made off the show. But yeah that's another conversation about how record labels and production companies make more money off creators. I can't wait to finish the finale

For now I'm trying to get into a flow state as to not judge my feelings, but that's a big ask for this noggin currently. Isn't this being human stuff wild? Six Feet Under is TV perfection, very complex characters, beautifully written and filmed ..... and if you make it to the final episode, you'll be rewarded with the best finale to any show ever made (Google tv shows with best endings and we're pretty sure it will win almost every poll) Have a great 2025, we hope you get as much pleasure from the shows you watch, as we get seeing your reactions.

It sounds like they may have broken it up for more $. The podcasters said the creators signed Season 1 away to Netflix and made no profit from it?? I didn't fact check any of this, but it's a podcast I regularly listen to and feel they're reliable. ----- minutes later ----- I just looked it up, and they did sign away royalties and IP ownership for S1. I suppose it was worth it to get your name and brand out there. Anyway, it did not seem rushed to me because the first two episodes moved slowly back into where I thought it would go. That finale was absolutely insane. I have no idea where we're headed in S3.

I've always had an interest in true crime. I think I'm always trying to understand the human condition and what makes people the way that they are. Coloring is so soothing to me. When my stepfather died, it was the one thing that could quiet my mind, so I still turn to it when I need solace and quiet in my head.

I'm the same with things like Elden Ring. I love watching people play it but never got very far myself, despite really appreciating the soul of it.

You probably won’t want to break it in half. So either plan to watch just 2 episodes this week up to the end of season 1 or go for 4 episodes!

My man cyberpunk is one of those games that I have tried soooooo hard to get into. I even bought the expansion, pack with Idris Alba and I still can’t get into it. Which is weird cause I love the Netflix show. Same thing with the Witcher 3. And these are games that some people say are their favorite games of all time.

Playing video games used to be my preferred way but since my son was born I probably play less in a month than I used to in a week, lol. Far more locked in on weights now because it's a great way to blow off steam. On the topic of games, have you played Cyberpunk 2077? It's become one of my favourite pieces of media ever. The recent expansion has Idris Elba in too and it's incredible.
