Don't these people not know they can just skip forward? Especially the crowd of people who say I talk too much when I'm doing breakdowns... You all can literally skip forward a couple of minutes and don't have to hear my voice. But they complain still. These days i just blocked them instantly and not have to deal with them again

I mean sometimes if I have time, I’ll let the video play and just be checking my phone while you have yourself a little cuddle. Other times I’m trying to get through reaction vids a little faster so if you pause the video to have some cat time I’ll just forward it until you press play again. It’s not that big of a deal.

So much goodness can come from then just being around each other haha I think Columbus is number one on the list of the bad place, if not he's a contender That is so true. Just say it as you normally would. Foreigners usually know when someone is genuine and when they're trying to put up an act / be a dick.

When I see people who truly love their pets, it tells me so much about who they are. Your interactions with your babies have made me like you as a human even more. Even when Michael kicked the dog into the sun on a fictional show, you showed concern. I feel that. Just keep loving on those kitties and being the authentic person you are.

2024-12-20 00:55:06 +0000 UTCOkay, about the episodes! This show is such a great mix of deep philosophy and life, fart jokes, chaos and heart, I love it so much. On this rewatch, I kind of see a shift between episodes 1-3 and the 4-5 you've watched in that 1-3 felt a lot more "standard sitcom", kinda: Eleanor is more of a stereotype, Chidi has a constant stomachache... it felt a lot like they were trying to still find who these people were. But then eps 4-5 are a lot smoother in the writing. Also, the pace! They go so fast. I could have watched three whole episodes of Eleanor and Chidi having the other couple stuck at home, and how that changes them. I wanted to savour it more! Small notes: I'm so with you on Columbus. I can't remember right now who else they have mentioned is in the bad place so far, but he definitely deserves it. And I caught your eye roll when Tahani says "~it's BarTHelona, actually~", and I laughed so hard!! It's always so funny when tourists try to put on airs about that. Just say it like you would, it's fine! We don't pronounce it "pay-treon" in Spanish, we say "pah-treon", because that's how we would naturally pronounce it, and it's fine! (Also, I could go on a whole rant about how the "th" thing is not a lisp and never was and the different consonants and all, but I don't want to bore people!😅) It's so great to be back in this show. What a little gem.

This is not the good place “heaven “ but for a lack of a better word it’s like purgatory where each person isn’t supposed to be there not even the character played by Ted Danson. He doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing at all much less have any answers, is his first time running “the good place“ and his assistant has answers, even Ted Danson character has flaws. I believe this is a place for all those who have “flaws“, trauma or just want to remain who they are and be self actuated are there to figure it out and become their better self before progressing to the “good place“ they all arrived on the same day they all have issues some are very apparent and some are not, but we are unveiling each characters “flaws“ traumas, etc. I believe this is a place that holds space for self growth spiritually and I don’t believe any of them are destined for the“hell” for lack of a better word. They’re just transitioning, but still need to take care of their unresolved issues.

Speculation is tricky because you can definitely influence Frank’s experience of the show if your argument is convincing enough. When the show first came out people were talking and speculating together like crazy, however. I think it’s part of the fun. Frank’s OK with it, so go nuts!

I don’t want to take the fun out of the show for anybody, but I really can’t wait to share what I think the good place is and that selfish to just write out my thoughts on what it is to satisfy my own expression and thoughts on the show that might lead to others, not enjoying it as much. By the way, I am so glad you are back home and had a good time.

I appreciate that you care about the people and creatures that are actually with you, more than us, honestly. You should hold your cats, you should make time for your wife, you should take the family holiday trip! Just like they say for any job, you're not going to inherit the company. Life comes first. And we are here (or at least I am here) because your reactions are honest and paused and conversational, you don't have "react mannerisms" like I see in other channels.
