Weekly question: What’s your favorite thing to do to celebrate your birthday?
My wife and I have this Japanese joint downtown that we have unofficially named our celebration spot. Most Valentines, birthdays, and anniversaries are celebrated there. We hit that spot up and get tons of sushi, different appetizers that I can't even pronounce, soups, etc and I try to learn how to use chopsticks for the 17th time😆 what's yours?

2024-10-02 12:07:33 +0000 UTCMy Grandma and I have birthdays 4 days apart and the 4th of July falls in between. We used to celebrate them together with cake, card games, barbecue, and fireworks. She passed in 2017, and I haven't really celebrated it at all since. 😔

I remember once, My mom took my entire 3rd grade class to Chuckie Cheese and I spent the entire day stresses out pretending to enjoy it. I don't know why I am like that.

I’m not sure if it’s different to request a tv series (much larger commitment). It’s the Disneyland All-Access Pass to jump the (Patreon voting) lines!! 😂

I've never been someone that has made a fuss or cared much about my birthday. I think part of it is being adopted -- until I found my biological roots about 7 years ago, I think that day always left me feeling a little odd, but I always celebrated -- and still do. What I like to do the most is a low key, simple gathering with my family: food, cake, ice cream, and game night. I absolutely love playing board games and card games. I would do it every weekend if I had a group to do it with. Have a great Sunday! Looking forward to this week. :)

My favorite thing to do on my birthday is just have a chill day. My family and I usually go out to eat lunch or dinner together, no specific restaurant more whatever we are especially in the mood for with me having the last say. And we have the most delicious cake. If I were supposed to work that day, I'm take the day off and I spend a lot of time cuddled up in bed reading (which is my favorite thing to do).
