Update on TV shows - I watched the last episode of Ted Lasso today and I have decided to continue watching The Wire and will be starting season 2 this week. As for the 3 TV show polls I recently put up. The top 2 votes were Hannibal with 35% and Fleabag with 33%. The show that was supposed to replace the wire is Secession with 26%. But as I have decided to continue watching The Wire, that would have to wait.
Upload schedule - As some of you know, I am also an art teacher and the school season is coming around again. Also teach some adult classes. So starting this week, they're going to be some more days that I don't upload. So for the main time, you might only get an episode of your favorite show a week. It won't be this way indefinitely. Once I find a good balance there will be a video almost every day. Hope you all can understand and bear with me.

Weekly question: Do you believe in second chances?
I do, but at the same time, I believe it's based on the crime committed. Some things are just such a heavy breach of trust, that will make that forgiveness and second chance very difficult to hand out. What do you think?

Fleabag won to poll for the Ted Lasso crowd. Secession won the poll for the wire crowd. True Detective season 1 came 3rd on that poll. So I had to go with what the people wanted. But yes I will absolutely watch True Detective down the line. Every show on that poll is something I will eventually watch. You all just pick which one comes first because that's a perk for being a Patron

2024-09-24 16:05:09 +0000 UTCTeaching can be hard and draining so don’t pressure yourself to upload every day, I’d rather have one or two videos a week and you actually enjoying it than you starting to feel resentful, depleted and dreading to make reaction videos. I hope you enjoy the students and classes you teach! I think it really depends on the offence, the person who did it, and how hurt you were by the action. Sadly sometimes when the trust has been broken, no matter how much you want to give that person a second chance, you find yourself not able to. But on principle I’m a strong believer in second chances because I think most people want the chance to learn and grow from their mistakes and not just be reduced to their worst moments.

No black and white in this world, but for the most part I believe in second chances if the person is genuine in their efforts & attitude to do better. Sadly, fairly often people are not.

Just a little confused. After Interview, there aren't many things on par with it with regard to writing and acting besides True Detective season 1. Hopefully we're going there at some point? Thanks for your time! 😇

2024-09-24 04:42:28 +0000 UTCSecond chances? It honestly depends on the circumstances. I have rarely found a person who has done something harmful completely turn things around. I’m sure people can and have, but I haven’t seen it. So then I have to decide if it’s something I want to accept about the person and if I want to be around them. Many times, I just let the issue and the person go. When I was younger I put in a lot of effort to fix things. Now that I have a kid, my priorities are really set and anyone else I expend energy on has to be extremely worth it. That’s why I value your work so! :)

I’m extremely interested to hear your thoughts throughout season 2 as well! I do believe in second chances because I guess I always tend to give people the benefit of the doubt BUT only if the mistake someone made didn’t have major consequences or ill intent behind it. I feel like once you cross certain lines it’s best to just move on otherwise you might drive yourself crazy, ha.
