Books were an essential escape for the mind. I guess, because of my age and location movies weren’t part of our world. The radio only reached so far here in Alaska. The planes would come with an order of books from the library and list from the library. Lord of the rings introduction to fantasy. And yes, I got older 1984 and animal farm. My appetite for books like music is wide and buried. I loved to be able to travel to New World and new countries. New cultures so history books were also something I really enjoyed. Back in the 50s and 60s books became much more vivid and a heck of a lot more accurate and not so colonialist weaning. I really appreciate your channel and the work he put into it. I love listening to your reactions to what we are watching especially since most of what you show I haven’t seen. You’re the star of the show more than the movies for me. Have a lovely day. I read all of Game of Thrones books years before the movies failed us, but it was still fun to watch the movies. I would love to see House of dragons.
