Band of Brothers | Ep 4 | Full Uncut Reaction

Comments

That’s not Sam from LotR. That’s Professor X from the newer X-Man films.

The child getting that chocolate is one of my absolute favourite moments in the whole series. My father in law was born in Holland in 1942, so it gives it an extra demention. ❤️

Orange is the national colour of Holland, still today 😊They are crazy about it. They are cutting the woman's hair cause they had a relationship with a German soldier. I guess this lady both did German and American

Wow. Thanks for sharing about your family and that brief history of survival, sacrifice, and exodus. People like you are who are Envision and when I am watching TV shows like these. People who are impacted by all these events, makes it feel so real to me. I pray your prayers are answered🧡Peace to the world

I remember someone telling me that a lot of actors got their big break from this. Good to see it. Thanks for watching my friend. Glad you enjoyed it

Green does mean new. Like new growth of plants in the spring--starts out green. The actor who plays Sam in LoTR is Sean Astin, who is famous for (among other things) playing Mikey in The Goonies and Rudy in Rudy. The actor playing Bull Randleman is Michael Cudlitz, who I recognize first from playing Anna Lucia's partner in Lost, but he has been in a ton of other stuff. They kind of do look alike with a little facial hair, and looking all beat up like Sam did in the end of LoTR. I love the reaction! Thank you!

I’m first generation American born in 1945. I was born here in Alaska to parents who were fifth generation Norwegian. My father was in the second world war. Our town of Finnmark Norway had been under heavy, German fighting most of hid inside and abandoned railway tunnel. We were liberated in 1944. My mother was pregnant with me. We my grandparents and mother immigrated to America making our way to Alaska. After the war, my father joined us. My grandfather had fought in the first world war in 1913. He and my father works extremely close and only they would talk to each other about what they knew. What they experienced as my grandmother and mother raised our family on our Homestead. There were times in my Youth, when I could hear my father’s nightmares and my mother trying to soothe him, only my grandfather was able to help him emotionally. Yet there was no one there for my grandfather, other than my grandmother, and he refused to speak to her of the horrors of what in the first world war I never thought I’d have the strength at the age of 79 to be watching this very realistic series. It is the elder gentleman who always speak first before the movie starts that makes it most poignant for me. Once the second world war was over, we promised never again and yet humanity has not lived up to the promise after all the millions and millions and millions of humans have died because wealthy countries draw borders in nation say no nothing about and continue to repeat history. I pray every night since I was a little girl, someday the world would know peace. I am now a great grandmother, and with all of those going on now my prayers are more fervent and deeper than ever not for my family not for our country but for the world. For every child, born and unborn to never have to know the horror war ever again. It would seem that those who lead great nations do not lead them with honor, diplomacy, and the foresight of the beauty of peace. I pray for each heart, the rules over the world to be enlightened. In the understanding. We are all brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers. with this in mind that the hand of grace, compassion and boldness to peace through diplomacy and equity with respect towards all life.
