I found you a few months ago and I promised as soon as I got my Social Security check, I would become a Patreon! I’m a great grandma that thinks you are a wonderful human being and that is what attracted me to your channel, and then when I saw your art and listen to your heart, I knew I found a special place. Many blessings, young man.

This feels like people we come across or have seen before. I've Just Seen only two Coen Brothers' movies I would have to agree. They just leave you thinking what it all means. And not in a bad way. Fargo and Tombstone are on the list for sure.

2024-05-24 14:52:38 +0000 UTCThe Big Lebowski is a bit of an odd movie for me. People always raved about it and then when I first watched it, I was left somewhat underwhelmed. I also thought it was crazy random and I had just expected more comedy because everyone told me how hilarious this movie is. I enjoyed it, but didn't really get what the big deal was. Having said all that.... this movie has grown on me and is now a favorite. I'd always catch parts of it while it was on TV and I'd always find myself watching however much of the movie was left. The comedy performances in this movie are just perfectly understated. Once you figure out that the randomness is the point it all just clicks into place. The interactions between all the characters is just so relatable to interactions I've had in my own life. These characters are all flawed but they all feel like somebody you know. At least this has been my experience. I cannot enter a room now that has a rug and not think about how it ties the room together. The Dude just wanted his damn rug back through that entire movie. The Coen brothers' movies always leave you thinking when they are over. I find my mind constantly returning to them and that is a unique feeling with movies. Even some of their less popular ones always have had some sort of impact on my psyche. Steve Buscemi plays the Donny character and you may have recently heard his name in the news for an incident in New York. I highly recommend you watch Fargo next on your Coen brothers journey.... Steve Buscemi plays a lead character in that movie and is absolutely fantastic in it. It is his greatest role in my opinion. That movie also has humor but is much darker than this and leans more toward the "No Country for Old Men" spectrum of their films. Steve Buscemi has been in so many things.... if you glance at his imdb page you will be amazed. He is in many Coen Brothers and also many Tarantino movies. You even saw him in Pulp Fiction. Sam Elliot plays the Narrator in this movie and is a lead character in Tombstone which you already know is also a must see movie.
