This is the first post of a new biweekly series "Straw Man", an ode to the romantic and very sensual vibe of a man in a straw hat. For those not familiar, the summertime brings a change in heat and clothing for cowboy-types. Men wear felt hats in the winter and in the summer most swap them out for a lighter, cooler straw style. It's a sksy classic that Hollywood loves to portray.
I live in Texas and I admit a straw hat is like magic on the roughest of guys.
