Thank you for sharing this ordeal as painful as it was. But look at the beautiful swan that you have become and you always were and will continue to be. It's just too bad that others were lost in their own dysfunction to to see clearly. Your story could help many others especially LGBTQIAPK Youths going through this now AND saving many lives from lot's of heartache as well I'm sure. Blessings Much Appreciated.

But my husband encouraged me long ago not to make the change official. Not sure that was a good call, but it's been fine. Psychologically, it's been fabulous. Speaking of escape... Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" came out while I was a young adult trying to escape fundamentalism (conversion therapy) and relocate to any gay ghetto. Yeah, I wept when I saw her with all that glorious grey hair having made it to our ripe (older) age. We made it. And we certainly didn't have to. Be well, friend. Not only are you loved, you are loved along with every part of your history that remains with you. Thank you for letting us love you so deeply (and you know, love means so much more than "romance" to me.)
