Progress Update (Renders have begun!) and BtS (SFW)

Hi all!

First, so as to not bury the lead, I want to share the good news I have officially begun working on the renders for the next build. The script is 90% done, with the only parts remaining to be writing out the two optional sex scenes and tying off the end of the release. I have all the substance, but just haven't quite decided on the right note to leave things on, and rather than continue to stare at the script with writer's block, I decided to be productive working on renders for what we've already got.

Second, I thought I'd share a couple of images with a little "behind the scenes" (BtS) look. These shots are from the same angle, but with slightly different lighting and some technical work to get the shadows to work correctly. Very often, the environment assets I use (those are the rooms and scenery) are great starting points, but they need some additional tinkering.

For this particular room, the original, "out of the box" doors to the balcony were frosted glass and you couldn't see anything. I wasn't a huge fan of that, so I tried replacing the texture with a sort of "stained glass" look. I preferred that, but it wouldn't create any shadows as light streamed through it, so that was some more work. This is still before I run the post-processing filters that gives the final BBN images their sort of pseudo-noir effect, but I think it looks a lot better with those shadows coming in.
