You are doing a huge disservice to Lily. Please help me understand why she is still traumatized to the point of being essentially useless ? Why does everyone treat her like she broke and she’s two seconds away from breaking again?? This by far has to be the most useless Lily Potter ever. You could literally replace all her scenes with ANYYYYYBODY else and nothing significant would change. Please give lily p SOMETHING of worth jeez. Have her work on potions at home to get her mind off “waiting for her son to return” Or practicing charms while having a correspondence with her old Charms Master Flitwick and attempting to finish her masters or develop new spells on her Pandora lovegood stuff

I know she just lost her husband but jeez, isn’t this Lily freaking potter who took Hogwarts by storm. Co-signed by slughorn, flitwick and numerous others on her sheer ingenuity and the way she lived. In the last few chaps she has definitely been reduced . And again, I know she is dealing with untold amounts of grief but sheesh, I am very much looking forward to her upcoming character development

2025-07-21 13:07:56 +0000 UTCVery smart and clever of Sirius to take on the title of Lord Black that will definitely help him in the future and give him more credit too, names in that world carry wright especially those of the Pure Bloods. Always felt that pretty much all of the Wizarding World were abslute fools to drop their guard like they did after Tom’s supposed demise after the night he attacked the Potters, what they should have done was kept their guard up and learned from previous failures and kept on the lookout for his return. Heck the old man shoulda done that actually and continued investgatuing into Tommyboy to learn what it was exactly that he had done in order to be prepared for hi eventual return. Texas will be good to them, especially a ranch. I did like Texas myself the times I visited despite being there for more rather serious circumstances and training that was Hell I did still like the civilian side of it that I was able to see and interact with. Always thought of Texas honestly as damn near a whole other country given how different it is than most of the US. I always enjoy fics like this where Harry is raised by Sirius and he takes a more proactive role in looking out for Harry, is also a plus that Harry has his mum there for him too.
