Final Poll for next story

Since you are now seeing this poll live, that means I have finished writing the very last words of Avalon.

As ever, I will give my thoughts on that upon posting the very last chapter, but it has been an enjoyable ride.

WIth that being said, now comes the final decision on what is to come next, and although I say it often, I cannot put into words just how grateful I am for the ongoing support I receive from each of you.

Now, below are the final two options.

Both will certainly be interesting and entertaining journeys with many twists and turns along the way.

Of course, feel free to comment and ask questions below, and I will reply.

For those of you anticipating the next chapter of TSOTWR, I am currently working on it, but have been focused on finishing the last chapters of Avalon, which is now finally complete.

I shall get back to it with more regular updates soon enough.

Crossing Over (Inspired by the unfinished work Passageways by Jerrway69 (Harry/ Cassiopeia Black)

With Sirius having been killed in the Department of Mysteries, Harry wishes only to escape the haunting memory of his Godfather passing through the veil, but such a blessing could never be.

Perhaps it was a moment of madness, or one of hope that he returned to the Ministry of Magic to see for himself that Sirius was truly gone, or maybe it was to get closure on yet another miserable chapter of his life.

Upon arriving, however, the voices he heard whispering to him became clearer, speaking to him of another place where his godfather was not dead. All he needed to do was use the cloak left to him by his father to follow Sirius.

What could go wrong?

Okay, so there is a lot to unpack with this story...

• Time will move differently between each world, which will be explained as the story progresses.

• In the new world Harry finds himself in, he will meet a younger Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald before the breakdown in their relationship.

• Harry will inadvertently change things from his own universe, and not necessarily for the better when it comes to the wars to come. (Maybe Harry vs Dumbledore/Grindelwald or Harry vs Dumbledore vs Grindelwald, with maybe some back and forth working together between the three to suit them... who knows?

• The relationship between him and Cassiopeia will be an enemies>lovers thing. It will certainly not be straight forward.

• The Hallows will feature in this, of course, and Harry will use the Peverell name, which gives you a clue as to why both Dmbledore and Gellert are interested in him initially.

• As ever, this will be a darker grey Harry, with a slew of characters returning from previous stories, and new ones to boot.

A Promise Kept (Harry goes to Ilvermorny, Rated M)

Sirius arrives in Godric's Hollow to find the Potter home in ruins.

Upon crossing the threshold, he finds the body of his best friend, and hurry's upstairs to find Harry alive but sporting the mark of a dark curse, and an unconscious but alive Lily Potter.

As he contemplates his revenge on the man that betrayed them, the woman wakes, and Sirius knows that they are not safe here.

What happened to the Dark Lord, he cannot be sure.

All that remains of the man is his discared wand and torn robes upon the floor.

Despite his lack of understanding of what has occurred, he knows he needs to get Harry and Lily to safety, and as Hagrid arrives, there is only one place that comes to mind...

• Voldemort keeps his promise to Snape not to kill Lily

• LIly survives and believes that Britain is not safe for her and her son.

• Sirius helps her flee to America where they live in hiding whilst raising Harry, who attends Ilvermorny, but of course, he cannot escape his Fate.

• I do not want to give too much away here, but there will be romance, and Harry will return to Britain when it fits with the story.

• There will be a slew of new characters to explore, and a whole new magical culture, different magics, and maybe even companions...

• Sirius and Lily will NOT be romantically involved.
