Next Round of Polling for Next Story!

So, we are now moving into the final stages of the polling for the next story to be written.

I know there will be many of you that are disappointed that The Boy Who Laughed is no longer an option, HOWEVER, I have decided that I will write and post it in a similar vain to how I do with TSOTWR.

It will be some time before it begins, but I expect it would be much longer before it would win a poll, so, every cloud and all that jazz.

Anyway, here is the next round for you guys to decide between, each story decidedly different, but all promising a most excellent adventure.

Crossing Over (Inspired by the unfinished work Passageways by Jerrway69 (Harry/ Cassiopeia Black)

For those of you unfamiliar with the story mentioned above, I have linked it here: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8378840/1/Passageways

With Sirius having been killed in the Department of Mysteries, Harry wishes only to escape the haunting memory of his Godfather passing through the veil, but such a blessing could never be.

Perhaps it was a moment of madness, or one of hope that he returned to the Ministry of Magic to see for himself that Sirius was truly gone, or maybe it was to get closure on yet another miserable chapter of his life.

Upon arriving, however, the voices he heard whispering to him became clearer, speaking to him of another place where his godfather was not dead. All he needed to do was use the cloak left to him by his father to follow Sirius.

What could go wrong?

Okay, so there is a lot to unpack with this story...

A Promise Kept (Harry goes to Ilvermorny, Rated M)

Sirius arrives in Godric's Hollow to find the Potter home in ruins.

Upon crossing the threshold, he finds the body of his best friend, and hurry's upstairs to find Harry alive but sporting the mark of a dark curse, and an unconscious but alive Lily Potter.

As he contemplates his revenge on the man that betrayed them, the woman wakes, and Sirius knows that they are not safe here.

What happened to the Dark Lord, he cannot be sure.

All that remains of the man is his discared wand and torn robes upon the floor.

Despite his lack of understanding of what has occurred, he knows he needs to get Harry and Lily to safety, and as Hagrid arrives, there is only one place that comes to mind...

Godfather (Rated M)

Having blown up his Aunt Marge, Harry flees Privet Drive.

Believing himself to now be a fugitive, he does not know what he will do, until he runs into a large, shaggy, who is much more than he seems…

-             Instead of going to The Leaky Cauldron, Harry heads to Grimmauld Place with Sirius, who is bent on revenge, but realises that Harry needs him more than he could’ve imagined.

-             This will develop into quite an epic story which will see Harry learn valuable lessons from his Godfather, whom he chooses to stay with instead of returning to Hogwarts… for the beginning portion of the story.

-             Harry will be heavily influenced by Sirius in many ways, but his time in Grimmauld Place will see him learn much that he would never be given the opportunity to at Hogwarts, changing him in many ways.

-             The pairing for this will be an eventual Harry/Hannah Abbot, something we do not see often in Fanfiction.

-             Her character will be explored in depth, and she will have her own journey throughout.

-             Will fit canon events where required but will inevitably deviate away from it.

A Promise Kept sounds the most interesting to me. We've seen quite a bit of the other stuff now. There's almost zero good Harry grows up in America type stories.

I like the idea of a Cassieopia pairing, sounds interesting and I would love to see how that might alter the war with Grindelwald. I loved the black family pairings you have done so far, and when the roses bloom is an amazing story, so something that is a merger of the two sounds fantastic. I do hope that we don't get an entire army of alternate Harry Potters though, Harry Evans being in All For You was already enough for me to know that I don't care much for that concept.

I like all three stories but harry going to ilvermorny sounds very interesting and could be better story out of the 3 due to the concept. Also i don't mind which story is picked

Godfather sounds like a cool premise for sure but any many ways the pairing can make the story. And theirs nothing cool about a hufflepuff pairing. It’s just so bland. Unless it’s Tonks. She doesn’t count she’s cool as shit

I'm surprised so many people are voting for another Harry vs Grindlewald story, even if it also adds Dumbledore as another antagonist. And while the Lily being alive story would be interesting Godfather is the best choice imo. Seeing all the original characters as the core scene after so many time travel and completely new character/areas in all the previous recent stories needs a bit of a break and cling closer to canon for a story to refresh it all.
