New Zombie Series Announcement!

Yep, you read that right, there is even more Zombies coming.

500 Patreons Strong!

First of all I just want to gush about the support over here. We have firmly crossed the 500 Patreons milestone. I think its hard to sound authentic when talking about you Patreons since you guys just straight up give us money, of course every Youtuber is going to praise/thank/kiss ass the community members who line the pockets but the reality is the Zombie series continues to really not do well on Youtube for us.

There is simply no feasible way the Zombies series would be continuing after Black Ops 3 if the Patreon hadn't shown promising growth. I love the series but 5 weeks of work has to be justified in some sort of business way and that's been you guys and you guys alone. The Zombies series range from 150,000 to 50,000 views and out of all those people, 500 of them decided to keep it afloat for everyone else and for that I am grateful. As a creator, I think if I can get to the end of this series, it will something I'm very proud of. I don't know what the future holds, maybe the series will blow up and do better, maybe all you guys will leave and it will be cancelled, regardless, it was you chaps who got it through the first few stages and gave it a chance so cheers to that.

New Zombie Mini Series!

Now for the fun part, more Zombie videos! Chapter 15 will essentially be the end of an era for the series and where things change going forward. After Chapter 15, I will be working towards moving past my current title of Zombie Tourist and moving in to the world of Zombie Mastery (slowly).

I knew when Black Ops 3 ended that I didn't want to leave it behind, there is SO SO much Zombies left to go and I feel like while there are games people are excited for, Black Ops 4 is really the only big one left the community cares about and with the videos themselves not performing well on Youtube, I think moving the series forward with only less relevant/loved games to come puts a risk to the main series lasting success. As much as I appreciate what you guys have done to support this series, I also need to be smart myself in how its approached and do everything I can to make it successful. So, Black Ops 3 is here to stay and its time to actually get good at a Zombies game.

First up will be a mini series where I will be Soloing every Easter Egg in Black Ops 3. I will be starting with Der Eisendrach, Zetsubou, Gorod and Revelations then if people enjoy the series, I'll also do Moon and Origins from the Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicle collection too. There is also one extra element to this series which I am keeping a surprise for now. Oh and I'll be doing all these recordings Live on Twitch too. This series obviously won't last that long but if people are receptive to it, it will return for Black Ops 4 when its time!

BUT WAIT THATS NOT ALL. Once I have achieved my initial goal of finishing a maps easter egg solo, its time to raise the stakes yet again, I will be exploring the world of Zombie speedrunning! I've always found speed running to be an interesting part of gaming but when it comes to speedrunning content, all I ever see is the people who have mastered the runs and are putting in the best times in the world. I mean it obviously makes sense that people want to see that part of speedrunning but what about the journey/process of actually learning a speedrun? I've never seen a documented series on someone starting out as completely hopeless at a speedrun and working all the way up to putting in very respectable times. That will be my aim. I will also be streaming all of this over on Twitch. The few Advanced Warfare streams I did were a lot of fun and I want to bring live events into the Zombie content rotation.

The solo easter egg series should be very straight forward to bring together but the speed running videos I am not sure what form they will take yet. I'm also not sure if I will fully finish every map solo and then start speedrunning or if I'll do both these ideas, back to back, per map. Interested to hear any opinions.

The road to Black Ops 4 is long. Advanced Warfare was only 3 chapters and yet I feel like Advanced Warfare might have done permanent damage to the main series momentum, this is concerning because we have A LOT of stuff to get through in Infinite Warfare/WW2 before we get to Black Ops 4 so my hope is this will break up the wait with a lot more Black Ops 3 content.

This will definitely slow down the speed of the main series coming out but personally I think its worth it and makes the entire journey more interesting.

Let me know your thoughts, none of this is final.

Thanks for everything, bring on the pain.

I don't want you to run into the problem of "been there, done that" content that might scare people off of watching the same easter egg done solo... But it's up to you. IMO it's too much effort for little results.
