TOP SECRET ZOMBIE PROJECT 2 [DO NOT SHARE]
Added 2023-03-10 13:53:08 +0000 UTCTHIS IS TOP SECRET INFORMATION FOR PATREON EYES ONLY, IF THIS IS SPOTTED BEING SHARED OUTSIDE OF PATREON CHANNELS YOU WILL BE LEFT IN SHANG-RI-LA FOREVER (no seriously I'll ban your ass this is some secret stuff).
Well well well, look who's back for an entirely new Zombie series which will be even more painful than the current one.
Before we get to that, I have a few more things to cover, first up a big thank you for deciding to become a Patreon! ❤
The uptick in support is what made me decide to create this post. I planned to hold this information hostage (I haven't even mentioned this to Jamison yet) until after Black Ops 3 but you guys warmed my zombified heart and we also want to add more and more rewards to the Patreon (we're currently still brainstorming how to add more on here without spreading ourselves out too thin time wise) and I thought a bit juicy reveal/secret would be something you guys would enjoy.
So first of all, I'd like to lay-out my current plans for Chapter 7 through to Chapter 14. I hope to get these all done before 2023 ends. These are obviously subject to change, I can't see the future but I am mostly confident these will stick.
Chapter 7: Black Ops 2 ends, Origins, Grief/Turned Multiplayer Modes (with Patreons!)
Chapter 8: Advanced Warfare begins, Outbreak and Infection maps.
Chapter 9: Advanced Warfare ends, Carrier and Descent maps AND we try Call of Duty Ghosts Extinction mode.
The reason for leaving Extinction mode for Chapter 9 is just for pacing reasons. I want every episode to be unique in it's own way. I think the novelty of the first non-Treyarch game will be fun for Chapter 8 but I thought Chapter 9 might be a weird one since people probably just want Black Ops 3 to start already so the hope is Extinction makes for a nice surprise/twist.
Chapter 10: Black Ops 3 begins. The plan for Black Ops 3 is one map per Chapter (I've been informed The Giant isn't that big so all except that one). It feels like Black Ops 3 might be the peak of the zombie series so making Black Ops 3 episodes come out faster and giving every map its moment makes sense to me. Chapter 10 starts with Shadows of Evil (and we will take a peak at Dead Ops Arcade 2). Then you guys can probably figure out the rest of the Chapters from here.
Chapter 11: The Giant, Der Eisendrache.
Chapter 12: Zetsubou No Shima.
Chapter 13: Gorodo Krovi.
Chapter 14: Revelations.
But after Black Ops 3 I do have a bit of concern for the rest of the series. Black Ops 3 is by far the most popular game in the series and after this we still have Infinite Warfare (5 maps), WWII (7 maps), Cold War (5 maps), Vanguard (4 maps) and Black Ops 4 (8 maps?! did I really write that down correctly?).**
That's a LOT of content, I actually think that the end of Black Ops 3 isn't even the half way point of this journey and yet, I've already crossed the popularity peak and people have possibly seen 14 of these chapters at this point.
I want to be smart and consider the likeliness that after Black Ops 3 interest for the series drops or repetition starts to kick in. I am still optimistic the series will continue to be fun and good but this series is really riding on nostalgia hard. I read all the comments and there's definitely a few BLOPS4, Infinite Warfare, Cold War and WWII fans out there but I think leaving Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 3 behind for the next 2 years is a missed opportunity. What if we could continue progressing through the less popular games while also bringing back the old favourites in a new interesting way?
That's when Zombie project 2 begins!
So, it is time to announce that after Black Ops 3 finishes (actually more likely after Chapter 15 happens since the beginning of a new game is always exciting) I will be beginning a spin-off series that will be produced alongside the We Play Every Call of Duty Zombies Map series. This will definitely slow down the original series but that is why I wanted to wait until Black Ops 3 is done and only start it during the less popular wave of Zombie games.
The idea is simple. I am currently not diving deep into any map at all. The Richtofen Runback was the closest thing to actually diving a little deeper on maps but I have yet to actually just play a zombies map. I have never tried to get to round 100 once, I haven't pack a punched half the weapons, I haven't seen half of the easter eggs, I haven't got all the steam achievements, I havent mastered any of them or learnt the tips and tricks the community knows. So here's a fucking stupid idea, what if you guys picked a map for me and I did all of that, every single thing I just listed, in one 24 hour no sleep session.
Welcome to 'I Play [Zombie Map] for 24 Hours Straight'. The new horrible torture concoction I have invented for myself.
When Infinite Warfare begins, I will open up the voting table for the Patreons and you guys will pick one map to imprison me in for 24 hours straight. The timer will start and I cannot stop playing the selected map until a full 24 hours has passed, no sleep allowed. You guys will have free choice over what map it is, you can pick the best Black Ops 3 map or you could pick Shang-ri-La or even Nacht Der Untoten where I go insane with only 3 concrete rooms to explore for a full day of my life.
You guys will all be welcome to join me during this journey too, meaning people who didn't get a chance to be a part of the maps they love in Black Ops 1/2/3 can now be a part of this new project. I'm obviously not asking a few poor Patreons to suffer for 24 hours, the idea would be for lots of you guys to join me for certain chunks of the journey (maybe in 2 hour intervals?), meaning a lot more spaces per episode than with the current series. The main objective of this new series is to basically see everything I missed while I also go slowly insane.
I will not be dragging Jamison along for the 24 hours, that would be cruel but I'll obviously be asking him to join for some stints along the way, maybe the starting and ending stints would be nice, whatever he is comfortable with.
I will probably be breaking chunks of the timer into different objectives, one chunk I'll be going for steam achievements, one chunk I'll be going for easter eggs, one chunk I'll be going for high rounds and at one point I'll just lose my mind and want to die. I'll also be livestreaming the entire thing so even if you don't get to play, people can come see where I am at and laugh at me during the process.
So there you go beloved Patreons, that is my top secret plan for the future of Zombies. We stay the course until Black Ops 3 is over and then I torture myself, pretty simple I think.
Thanks for the support, it should be quite a wild few years.

** One last thing I want to cover is why Black Ops 4 was at the end of this list. We don't currently know the future of zombies but even as a newbie I can see that things haven't been the best for a while and I sure as shit am not ending my 4-5 year video project with VANGUARD or even some new Black Ops 5 game that turns out to be crap.
The We Play Every Zombies Map series will end eventually. One day I will catch up with every Zombie Map and the objective of playing every single zombie map will be complete. When that happens, the series will end, forever. I will not be perpetually continuing this for future zombie releases. I've grown up watching every IP I loved be milked for eternity until it withers and dies in a miserable sigh and this series will not suffer the same fate. It will end and then I will move on to something else. I have no interest in being a Zombie Youtuber that just covers new Zombie releases, that is already done by 5000 channels and they can do that for you.
But, it is important to me that it ends on a fun game so I am considering holding Black Ops 4 hostage and breaking the chronological rule. This decision is obviously miles away from being finalized and we'll likely have another Black Ops game in 2024 so still a lot to see until this is decided but yeah, I ain't finishing on a lame note, I know BLOPS4 is a bit of a love/hate game but it's at least one of the core games if you know what I mean and I think it being the finale would be more fun than something less interesting. I have yet to look into if this would butcher Story Time but that's a problem for future Joe. I definitely care more about a fun ending to the series than following the zombie story, that's for sure.
Anyway, that decision is a long way off but the point of this post was to layout the entire Zombie series plan as it exists in my head right now so there you go!

well lucky for me, Shang-Ri La is one of my favorite maps. So go ahead, lol

2025-04-10 12:04:33 +0000 UTCPracticality is important to consider when planning out a series, but i do hope to see you get as much of the zombie content as possible, maybe try to condense the less interesting or less dense maps into a single larger video (might not be possible given the extent of zombies BS, but for example, getting gorod and revelations into one video, and especially the less popular games condensing the content into fewer videos might be the best way to maintain the views without having to drag out the series over a million episodes with less interest, BO4 should be the finale probably.
