Exclusivity Disclaimer

Thus far, our art pieces have been behind Patreon for 1-2 months and then we release them to the public. We decided that we will not release our art to the public anymore after this month ends. Reason is that we want to give people that support us a bigger sense of reward. We will still draw other pictures for free here and there.

As far as the game Spicy Sanctuary is concerned, we initially wanted to release the final build for free and keep the prototype/beta builds for Patrons as a behind-the-scenes bonus. But we have decided to make the builds of the game (prototypes, betas, final releases) entirely public. Reason for this decision is that as Spicy Sanctuary gets more gameplay features that flesh it out; and with the release of Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog that released last year, which is a visual novel and is regarded as an official game, it further blurs the line of what an official Sonic game is considered to be. We're already treading a fine line as it is, so we decided that we will have to release every build of the game to the public and not just Patrons. We could just release the final build when it's done, but we didn't want to keep people waiting that much to try it, as it is a huge project in the making.

Any work in progress material about the game like screenshots and video recordings will be still be posted for Patrons only, as usual, as they don't constitute executable builds. We also plan to have other exclusive content as rewards such as animations that will appear in the game. Our Patreon is not exclusively about funding the game, we primarily post our art as the main reward; the game is a byproduct and the updates about the game will be just that; image and video updates. If it were not to have a Patreon, we would still work on the game as it is a passion project foremost.
