Indeed. I can just see it now. People will be comparing Dumbledore to Harry Potter rather than Merlin. It would be pretty sweet it he left his portrait to speak to Dumbledore one day in the future as well as his family if they are still born as they were in the future. Imagine James and Lily one day finding out that the greatest wizard to ever live is in fact their son that had been thrown back in time by the Lady of the Lake. Now that would be a huge sense of pride.

Being "guided" by Myrddin, doing things that maybe he wouldn't want to do, and now befriending a man who is likely going to betray him. I'm assuming the blonde woman is Guinevere and the dragon is Arthur, as Myrddin already pointed out.

2024-07-25 19:41:56 +0000 UTCExactly and with Baron it could be any all or none which is what excites and frustrates. I don't want to wait but the time needed makes it great so I just stew.... Anyone got a cryropod or time machine I can borrow til the story is done? Hell one idea is what if he "becomes" new Merlin and does a Flamel? I seriously can't turn my brain off thinking new possibilities.

Hard to say since Harry is so far in the past (1000+ years), but he could prevent a conflict from escalating by something as simple as changing how the Ministry of Magic is run (it's still the Wizards Council at present).

It's nice to see her bonding with Harry and opening up to him a bit as well. If anyone could understand the whole being kinda an outcast of sorts would be him, it's something he felt most of his life til he went to Hogwarts anyway.

CHances are he is stuck in this time for good just like most other time travel fics and even if he did go back...who is to say that anything will be the same now? In time travel you must be very careful because even the littlest changes can have massive consequence or cause massive changes to the timeline.
