I enjoyed the chapter. The elder Harry playing with Riddle was a mistake and he knows it. Riddle has to be on the back foot with his allies now. They’ve taken too many casualties.

2024-05-18 21:00:30 +0000 UTCA really great chapter, which was full of action, however from a pure personal preference - someone who's read all your stories - I've kinda gone off the idea of Horcrux absorption. It just makes 'wins' feel less deserving, cause Harry ultimately becomes over powered. He has his innate qualities, potential talent from his mother and father and then is given all the knowledge of like 40 + yr old Voldemort. You can make a valid argument that the death of his parents means that Voldemort's knowledge is the least Harry should get, but I'm always one for adversity and hard work, i.e. HTB, SB and WoaR. Even in FftS, Harry has to choose to learn everything 'Dad Tom' teaches, so the final battle in the Ministry becomes a huge payoff, especially when Harry tells him about how everything he's become is because of Voldemort. To echo my point, this chapter literally showed Harry absolutely kicking Voldemort's ass without as much as a scar. Anyway, thanks you for the chapter and I look forward to the next.
