Great chapter. It was nice to see Harryโs hatred for media come shining through, and is apparently being adopted by Amelia. Sending the pack to an isolated portion of Canada was a nice touch. Alastor digging into Harry like a dog with a bone is true to character. LeStrange, Yaxley, etc.. have not yet learned that ignorance is bliss.

2023-12-29 14:40:33 +0000 UTCNot surprised that Harry wanted to avoid the press I mean he has always been vocal about his hatred of them, heck pretty well established even in canon that he strongly disliked that kind of attention. Plus..provided a bit of amusement to see them hound Bones. And of course more of their flirty/not flirty banter where they both dish it and take it. I swear the more ya learn and see of their interactions the more they fit with each other.

But with the changes Lee has already made to the timeline - like Voldemort already having reapplied for and having jinxed the DADA position, which didn't happen until 65 at the absolute earliest in canon - we don't really know where he'll take things from here.

Also, it would be a good opportunity to include the Blacks & Potters in the next arc, assuming the Marauders will be coming to Hogwarts. Anyway, thank you for the chapter Mr McCusker, especially during the holiday season, and I look forward to the next one.
