All the POVs were great, I especially enjoyed Ashara's, Rhaella’s, and Ellia’s at the end there. I disagree with some about Rhaella, or anyone honestly, finding out about Jon, at least not until later in the story. I understand it’s sometimes necessary, and the reveals are one of my favorite chapters in fics and how the author goes about it. Yours have been getting better and better, I reread them all the time. But it also feels like an easy way out, using a big secret to create bonds instead of what Jon’s been doing so far, using his own talents and skills to rise, charm, and be trusted. The mystery, the questions, the false assumptions, how so wrong they’ll continue to be as long as he can keep his secret. I’m loving everything so far! I don’t mind Howland eventually finding out and helping if that’s where you’re going. The Old Gods know that man can keep a secret. The ending was my favorite with the battle as a close second. I am so happy to see Jon’s rejection and the direction you went with the relationship, as well as the love triangle/square forming. And I am Team Ashara all the way! It just made it natural with their character so far and way more realistic. It kept me wondering what will happen next. Will Ash and Jon be seeing each other again in King’s Landing? Will he refuse to go? Will Cersei scheme and will other women try to grab him since they still have a chance with him? Will Barristan be petty and try to win her over? (For some inexplicable reason) I really liked how you wrote the scene. I can believe her falling in love so quickly, but I like how hard Jon is to actually get and that some realize this isn’t a fantasy but real life. (Lol). Her dad, lords, people at court shouldn't be okay with a bastard with no name or inheritance to give…yet. I’m really hoping for more drama and intrigue, hurdles with jealousy and other women vying for his attention or a night to warm their bed before they eventually get together. The tension is already building and its great. Either way I'm reading until the end. Lastly, I reiterate what my fellow fans of you are so very curious about. Any chance we get more? :) Thanks for another banger Baron!
