While this story is as high quality as your previous ones, I truly think you need to leave stories involving Harry vs Voldemort behind for awhile. It’s just hard to make a conflict that we have seen you write multiple times interesting and new. That’s why your Harry vs Grindelwald story was exceptional, it was a novel concept as far as your own stories go. I do hope you consider making your ASOIAF story your next main story, and if that isn’t feasible, then Avalon needs to be your next choice. I know the Harry/Amelia story won the poll, but I think that would be a mistake if it is just going to be a rehash of Harry vs Voldemort.

Admittedly, some of Harry's 6th yr wasn't a thrilling read, but since the Hogsmede battle, I think the story has picked up massively and is looking to finish up strong. Also, it does kinda make sense for Harry and the Notts, specifically the mum and Isabella, to be familiar considering Harry & Isabella pretty much spent a whole summer together and her Mum basically patched him up from significant injuries. I think that would bring people closer. Also, the fact that Isabella is pure blood makes what she said even more sense, as she understands the need for a family line to continue and she feels clearly that Harry saving their family warrants that. Plus it wasn't like she was throwing herself on top of him and the Wizarding world is a tad - respectfully of course - backwards, so culturally it makes sense too. Re the suped-up Death Eaters, I think this was a good idea, as it reintroduced ritual magic and raised the stakes higher, i.e. making the foot soldiers harder to beat and showed a consequence of Harry's actions, cause Voldemort wouldn't have done the ritual if Harry didn't fry their brains. Anyway, thank you for the chapter Mr McCusker and I look forward to the next one.
