I really hope Peter doesn’t get away. It’ll be nice to have a Sirius-Is-Actually-A-Free-Man fanfiction. It was a very nice chapter regardless though. I liked Harry’s blunt approach to Remus; it’s both what he needs and deserves.

2023-05-12 06:33:05 +0000 UTCLove what a bastard Peter is. Getting offended at Remus and feeling slighted and betrayed, then only thinking about his betrayal against the Potters as an afterthought. One thing I never see authors explore is the effect that spending over a decade living as a rat might have on Peter. It would be super interesting to see some kind of delusion or emotional detachment or other instability as a result of living for so long with a different brain chemistry than a normal human. I don't think it's ever mentioned in canon but I cant imagine it's healthy to spend a huge amount of time as an animal.
