Man I have to wonder if you have thing against Harry/Hermione or you just like obscure pairings. I think you could write a good one, most seem to get together to fast or have them denying it then suddenly together. Oh well, I will admit it's over done but still my favorite.

2023-06-11 04:43:04 +0000 UTCI agree and disagree with the last point you made, I think that the portrayals thus far have been close to canon for his friends and that may be by design. I don’t think Harry expects Ron to ever become super competent and he may be thinking about what the teachers said about Hermione not being as strong outside of theory. He’s aware of there faults and probably would be hesitant to want them involved in the coming conflict. He also still seems more closed off because of everything he is experiencing with the Peverells. He has already experienced war through the cloak. I don’t think he would want to put his friends in that situation. It could leave the door open to him meeting knew friends during this Cold War between Hermione and Ron the rest of the year or maybe he’ll meet others during the Triwizard Tournament who can become his allies. Personally I’m hoping for an Honor Thy Blood like relationship with Sirius. If he brings others into this they’d need to be mature enough or experienced enough to handle what he knows is coming. A healed Sirius would fit that mold. I just don’t see this current group of friends being the people he goes to battle with down the line. I’m excited to see what happens though.

Pettigrew now chilling at Dumbledore's office may have repercussions, if he overhears Harry talking about Sirius's letter. The only thing I'm not sure on is you making Hermione timid, cause I swear she punched Draco during the 3rd saga. This one has felt closest to the books, so it would be good to see Hermione and Ron, along with Neville & others, becoming more competent so they can help Harry post 5th yr. Anyway, thank you for the chapter Mr McCusker and I look forward to the next one.

2023-05-07 23:38:48 +0000 UTCI, too, am satisfied to see Sirius taking a more logical approach rather than continuously attempting to mindlessly and aimlessly murder Pettigrew. As usual, I enjoy witnessing Harry’s numerous magical sprouts as he grows better and stronger magically. I am disappointed about the wait until Thursday though, especially after that cliffhanger! 😂 Jeez.
