Honestly the idea that Sirius failed in his duties holds merit but lacks any real substance to be angry over. I could see it working if Harry had anything to be angry about but he doesn't. Even then can anyone really say they would expect to be arrested and thrown into Azkaban right after he just lost his brother in all but blood and a women who he saw as something akin to a sister, lets cut the guy some slack in trying to avenge them in what took him a single day to track Pettigrew.
