I gotta say, i am absolutely NOT proud of this page...I can't tell if it's because it's finals keeping me away from maintaining my drawing/rendering or what but i just had so much trouble with this page. First up is definitely just perspective issues, particularly the 1st, 5th, and 6th panel. For the first panel, i'm completely dissatisfied with the arms and leg posture, the 5th panel, i'm disgusted with the torso positioning and the last panel is just the guy's position isn't centered. For the 4th panel, it was such a tight space to fit in dialogue that it kind of covers up the motion of the piece. Speaking of dialogue, it's just completely all over the place when it comes to placement itself. if there is one thing i'm happy with is that i tried experimenting again with an "intense" colored background (the second panel) to emphasize the mood/force of the situation i suppose. i always felt like it was off but then i just appropriated a overlay/multiply layer above the characters residing within it to match the colored background but that's not particularly a "new" method or anything. Another thing i hate is just the face of the first panel, my god it's just....awful.
I know you guys have been waiting for a couple of days for this page to be complete but i have to apologize for the quality going down on this. i tried seeing what the focal problem was and i think it just may be my sketching method. i've mentioned in the past that i used a new sketching method to make more gesture like drawing to make ease of motion and direction, however i think it's starting to be cyclical in what method i prefer since i'm starting to feel uncomfortable with it again. I tried the chicken-scratch and contour methods again and i'm more satisfied drawing like that again. But as mentioned, it's cyclical so maybe it won't last again. AUUGH god this page just absolutely raped me. I'll do my best to improve upon this point on
