We don't have an Independence Day themed image to post. (Actually, we never really do themed posts.) In fact we just returned from Tahoma, CA, located on the western edge of Lake Tahoe. It was a long drive to get there, but that area and our Air BnB was certainly worth the effort. We are in love with that place and hope to return again soon. We also have Nest Cam footage of a bear getting into our rental van through an unlocked door. Who knew? We do now!
The night before we left, we were able to connect with @charliegrrll (on Instagram) from Tennessee. She flew in for the weekend to shoot both with us as well as James Felix. We are quite honored that we are a photography team of choice for models flying into our state. And, we are so very stoked with how the pictures came out, especially with all of the bright colors that contrast against our beloved desert.

The Goldfield Mountains are directly north of the Superstition Wilderness, both just east of where we live. Both areas are the most easily accessible stomping grounds and unique desert photoshoot locations. We spend a lot of time out there :) We are definitely not an agency, but TND Models is just a tag so that you can search between the work we do as The Naked Desert and the models who shoot for us under Naked Desert Photography (if that makes sense). And, FYI we created some great images with Charlie. Can't wait to share!

2020-07-06 22:54:10 +0000 UTCLoved Lake Tahoe in the late 70s when I visited. Never heard of "Goldfields" though. Already follow @charliegrrll...mercy! What exactly are "TNDModels" if every model who shoots for you doesn't automatically become a TND model....curious minds....maybe too curious? LOL! And be safe, please, even in the outdoors and all that.
