As we bid farewell to another memorable year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the journey we've shared together in 2024. Your continued support and unwavering enthusiasm have once again fueled our creative pursuits, and I am deeply thankful for each and every one of you.
Rewind 2024: What Have I Done?!
This year has been nothing short of transformative, packed with artistic growth, challenges, and accomplishments that have pushed the boundaries of our shared vision.
I ventured into testing a new art style and focused on improving my skills in drawing harder poses and more intricate backgrounds, which demanded significantly more time and effort.
Additionally, I challenged myself to create fanart of characters from franchises like Genshin Impact, tackling the complexities of their elaborate costumes. Despite the challenges, I am proud to say I persevered and achieved meaningful progress.
2025: What’s Next?
2025 promises to be a challenging yet exciting year. I have outlined a broad plan for the third year of our journey, but it remains flexible to adapt to new ideas and inspirations. What lies immediately ahead is the release of My Happy Marriage, which will kick off the year. Following that, I have a lineup of fascinating projects that I cannot wait to share with you.
1. Adjustment of Tier
First, regarding the tiers, I have decided to make a few adjustments. To avoid any confusion, the current tiers will remain unchanged, and a new tier will be added. You can refer to the Tier/Plan section for details.
In general, the current tiers won't undergo significant changes. The current "Teacher" tier will be renamed to "Monitor," and the name "Teacher" will be assigned to a new tier.
For updates involving comics or manga with a large number of panels, such as the SCP series or *Oshi no Ko*, they will belong to the "Principal" tier. The "Teacher" tier will be reserved for fanart of characters with intricate designs, such as those in Genshin Impact or Honkai Impact. I will provide more details about the large-size format of works in this tier below. After all, I believe this approach will ensure greater fairness for the readers.
2. About the update of the new Tier
I’ve realized the limitations of a single comic panel, especially when drawing poses that require a wider canvas. For example, a pose like lying face down while being struck with a big paddle naturally stretches across the panel's frame. To address this, I’ve decided to merge two panels into one, providing more space for the illustration, as shown in the sample images below. However, this approach is quite resource-intensive and time-consuming. Additionally, detailing on a larger canvas puts a significant strain on my eyes, so even with my best efforts, I can only manage up to four of these at most. =))
Last but not least, thank you for your continuous support, for every comment, message, and contribution that has kept this channel alive and thriving. Here’s to a new year of boundless imagination, growth, and artistic wonder!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Starila
