And the old auction house mount was 5 million gold which is 330$ in wow tokens. So if you ask the question, did blizzard become more greedy? Well, they decided reduce the price of this mount by a lot. But I can see the argument that the old mount was priced to target people who are good making gold. And the new one is priced to maximize revenue. I know how blizzard would get 50$ from Jon. 50$ and remove all cooldowns from in-game toys :) Blizzard cashing out on the inconveniences they built into the game.
