Partly Damned UPDATE (password: wip)

So, this post is dedicated to people waiting for episode 2 of the armless themed youtube series I started - Partly Damned. Especially those (if there are any of you like that) who joined this patreon mainly for that, and now feel like it wasn't worth it, I assure you I put huge effort into it and your support is much appreciated!

That said, I am very sorry it's taking so long. Turns out the initial dealings with our main character's newfound armlessness are even tougher to animate (and write!) than the pilot episode, which on it's own was quite the toll setting up the world and introducing the characters. 

Nevertheless, there's a bunch of essential "first time" scenes in this episode I really wanna get right. I even slowly realized this is probably the episode that needs the finest tuning as for tone and phasing, and I've been tinkering with that for weeks now. At the same time a huge project at my normal job got me so incredibly busy I had to pause my efforts dedicated to the show these last two weeks, cause spending an hour or two on it just isn't enough to delve into the complex problems.

At the same time I try to upload something worth vile every week here, to keep it worth it for you to be my patrons. So eventually we arrive to today where I don't have anything to show for myself other than a sneak peak of Partly Damned 2. Even worse, at the same time, I can't bring myself to spoil anything, cause I strongly believe you'll enjoy it more as a whole when it's finished xD So this is an apology for today's "non upload" but also I consider it important you all read this update and hopefully understand.

Please be patient with me, I did not forget nor do I neglect working on this anime project, I have six minutes of animation basically done and ready, but they still need refinement and possible rewrites, and scenes might be added or deleted for the storytelling to be right. And then there is the whole voiceover and sound/score phase. So just hang in there. And I sincerely hope in the future I can produce sub sequential episodes quicker than this. (and also post work in progress here cause it will no longer be so spoilery :))
