Love your reactions! There are times where I feel a little bad for Way but not too much, he just left a sour taste in my mouth from the first time that he told Babe "Nobody can ever really love you, they always want something from you, its better for you to be alone" like...who tells their friend that they should be alone. And everytime he tells him "you've changed" I'm like "Yeah...for the better" Babe is smiling more now, he's happy, he's trusting more people. Before he met Charlie he was suspicious and paranoid of everyone and traumatised from his past with Tony and instead of Way trying to help him through that and trying to tell him that "Just because Tony used you and didn't truly love you doesn't mean you are not worthy and deserving of love and it definitely doesn't mean that you should be alone forever". The fact that all of Ways conversations with Babe are him trying to control him some way and trying to keep him stuck in his trauma makes it hard for me to sympathise with that man.
