2023-03-15 23:56:37 +0000 UTCWhile I still have issues with the editing and a bit with the pacing I am loving how we are getting such a deep storyline, even if it is uncomfortable to watch at times. Uea's beauty shots are also excessive, yes, even I think so and James is my ult bias in BL so.....lol. But yeah, Net and James' chemistry is almost unbeatable. In their interviews they talk about how they resolve arguments and how they made an effort to understand each other every since they were paired together over 2 years ago. They are always talking about how they want to grow together and how they don't like to take solo work b/c they prefer to work together. Obviously, when the opportunity rose for small roles prior to this for one or the other they'd take them, but they usually don't do any events alone. I admire their partnership.

2023-03-15 23:55:04 +0000 UTCFor it to be episode 3, they have given so much backstory for Uea and I wish that happened more in shows upfront rather than them waiting until the show to be over and say 'by the way...' It helps to understand Uea's character and his behavior more. I do like how King tries to respect Uea's boundaries but still be tryin' it at the same time. Side note: The uncle is supposed to be Uea's stepfather, which doesn't make the situation any better. I really need to read the book for myself, because I have so many questions. I'll probably wait until the series is over and see how much they clarify first.
