The novel was…y’all I felt wrong reading it ngl I had to go pray after lol I think the fact that they are giving us backstory and they significantly reduced the trauma Vegas hands off to Pete helps. A lot.

2022-06-19 23:36:45 +0000 UTCI actually like that they are giving Vegas' background. I think it shows how abuse and trauma can hurt us in different ways. Pete recognized that the fault is the parents', Vegas' internalized the abuse as his failure. I have always thought it's important to see the human behind every monster so we understand that monsters are created, it lets us remember that our actions have consequences. That being said, Vegas needs to be thrown off a cliff. Then we have Kim who needs to be beat tf down. Like, it's on fucking sight. Finally, Porsche pulling Kinn's ability to walk. Serve.

Vegas showing a second of caring and concern does not erase the belt wounds he left on Pete's body for me .. and I am sooooo sure that Korn was directly or knows who was directly involved with Porsche's parents death.. ugh these next episodes are gonna kill me

There is no way Pete would tell you that he could die .. and then go to his grandmothers.. smh I really don't feel anything for Vegas .. I understand what he went through but the fact that he is torturing Pete and doing what he is doing now is no excuse T_T I am not ready for these next episodes ..

2022-06-19 18:28:24 +0000 UTCI really don't understand how people are saying they want more PeteVegas torture scenes and how they're only watching for PeteVegas... like are we for real? Are people really that sadistic? Like i for one could not watch most of the PeteVegas scenes.. I also still can't stand Vegas.. although he's been traumatised by his dad I really can't excuse his behaviour towards Pete. Pete didn't deserve anything.. and Vegas only cared about Pete when he was passed out.. yes he cared about Pete in that moment but he showed no remorse for the shit he's put Pete through already. I also hate how Kim showed no care to Chay.. like he really just went and broke that poor child's heart. Also Korn being the person that erased the case 👀 very sus.. maybe he had some part in the car accident or disappearance of Porsche and Chay's parents. This episode was good and for this to be Bible's first acting gig he's doing a really good job portraying the evil in Vegas. Loved the reaction and I can't wait till next week.

I was saying to myself that "Alyx and Alyssa will lose their sh*t on this episode because it was a lot". I like how this episode goes back and forth with warm/funny/happy moments to intense and insane ones. Kinn finally realizing that he forgot about Pete but if days or weeks have passed how are they still in that same position? I wondered about that. When Kinn looked so worried and called Pete's grandma and she did exactly what Vegas wants her to say. However she should know that something doesn't seem right and same with Kinn. With information like that wouldn't Pete call and not text? It's the questions that make you wonder... For this to be Bible's first acting role is phenomenal. He's right on, all of them are. The torturing moments though, I'll admit that I was terrified, it gave me goosebumps. And not them throwing father issues with Pete and Vegas like y'all really trying to make me go easy on this man! I agree that with Kinn's dad he's more carefree with his sons, in terms of letting them be whereas Vegas's dad is more strictly ruled with his sons and that's why Vegas acts the way he does. His dad's frustrations bottle up on him and he takes it out on someone else (mostly Pete). As Pete said: "They don't beat us because we suck. They beat us because they suck". I think Vegas wants to be loved and appreciated so bad, I get it. BUT...what he's been doing especially to Pete...I STILL don't forgive him, let alone don't feel bad. I may have felt sorry for him a tad bit because there's some hint of humanity in him but oof... As for Kim I'm throwing hands!! The way he broke Porschay's heart like that. He's so precious and that there just hurts...And can we talk about seeing Time and Tay again? Love them, and how Yok is slaying in her outfit like yasss. As for Kinn and Porsche I didn't expect the dad to approve their relationship. But hey...Kinn said HE LOVES HIM! And Porsche loves Kinn! Maybe everyone already knew how they are to each other so it's not surprising to them especially Tankhun (who always slays lol). And OMG not Porsche falling on Kinn's "sock" again! Definitely some "turbulence" issues alright or as Alyx says "Head in the clouds" lol...Anyway next episode..let's go because I'm nervous but thrilled to see what happens next...
