I thought I was going to lose my mind when Shun deleted those photos because I thought he was giving up in a sense and wasn't going to tell Nagisa how he truly felt... Ako literally is the sweetest person ever.. I adored her so much and that hug at the end literally sent me over the moon.. I was so afraid it was just going to end that was going to be the end of it.. I can't wait to watch the movie and just see how their story continues from here!

2021-11-05 18:48:51 +0000 UTCAko really is the MVP of this series. No cap. She's also my favorite character. I liked her sub-arc about trying to change herself and build up her own self-confidence. And I like how beautifully it dovetailed into her having the grace and composure to want to help Shun and Nagisa on their own love journey despite her lingering feelings for Shun. Shun is best boy and my second fav of the series. A bit clueless but a true sweetheart. I was so happy when they confessed. I'm glad it didn't leave off on a cliffhanger. When the credits started to roll over the scene, I was so tense. That moment when Shun deleted the photos tho was shocking for me too! The usual trope is that the character will think about deleting the photo/letter/video and agonize over it but ultimately will keep it as a representation of their lingering feelings. When Shun went ahead and hit delete on EVERYTHING, I tell you, I screamed!!! The hug at the end was so wholesome. I can't wait 'til you watch the movie cuz it was a LOT. I def want to hear your thoughts especially in comparison or within the context of seeing the show as well.
