On the day of Blake’s graduation, his mother called for the first time in 10 years. She wanted Blake to come visit. His father warned him but Blake missed his mother and agreed to the visit.
Weeks turned into months, but Blake sent frequent letters home saying things were fine. The letters were short, but Blake’s father knew his son was not a writer.
At last, Blake sent a short note. “I’m coming home for Christmas Daddy” His father thought it was an odd thing for his manly 19 year old son to say, but he was eager to get his buddy back!
