Girlfriend - Slumber Party

“Anyway, she was head over heels for me, you know? Like, practically begging me by the time we got back to hers!” Luke boasted, his brash tone carrying across the bar. Melissa, the only friend of Luke’s to still be able to tolerate his ludicrous stories, swirled the ice around her cocktail, unimpressed.
“Then what happened?” she asked, sarcastically. Luke was too engrossed in his own story to notice.
“What do you think happened?” he said, smugly. Melissa knew he was being rhetorical, if only to drag out his story and the subsequent attention even longer. She didn’t dignify him with a response. “We smashed! It was great, she was moaning as she bounced around on me…” Luke continued, his voice trailing off. Melissa couldn’t help but roll her eyes as she saw how much Luke was relishing the chance to relive the experience in his mind.
“Do you think you’ll see her again?” she asked, trying to change the subject. Luke smiled sheepishly. “Luke?” she asked again.
“I kind of snuck out the next morning.”
“Did she speak to you at all?”
“I don’t know.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’ve blocked her number.”
“Luke!” Melissa yelled, hitting him on the arm. “You’re such a jerk, you know that right?”
“What? I’ve done nothing wrong!” Luke protested, though from the smile still clinging to his face it was clear that it wasn’t genuine. “It’s just sex. It’s meaningless.”
“You can’t ghost women like this – it’s real shitty of you. How would you feel if it was the other way around? How do you think I would feel if a guy did that to me?”
“No guy is going to treat you like that”, Luke said, quickly. “You’re not into guys, you’ve always made that clear”, Luke said, as if his friend’s sexuality somehow made his own behaviour permissible.
“It’s not okay, Luke. You need to start thinking a bit more about other people’s feelings, instead of just your own.” Melissa said. “One of these days, it’ll come back to bite you. You’ll lose all your friends, even me”.
“You don’t mean that, do you?” Luke asked, for once serious.
“Why wouldn’t I?” Melissa said, stalwart. “You treat the women you’re sleeping with this poorly, how are you going to treat the one that you drink with?”
Luke went silent for a moment, sipping his drink. It was rare that the pair argued, but he could tell his behaviour had finally crossed a line. Melissa, underneath the table, plucked a small tablet from a pouch in her handbag. It had been bought on a whim and she had never intended to ever use it. It was a curiosity – nothing more. But, now that she had the chance the alter Luke for the better, what kind of friend would she be if she didn’t take it? She had had enough of Luke’s behaviour, and despite her constant warnings, he had never changed course. She was beginning to think that he wouldn’t change unless something made him.
“Look, I don’t mean to call you out like this”, Melissa said, leaning in closer to her friend. “You’ve just got to be less selfish, okay? The world doesn’t revolve around you. Maybe you should think about what it’d be like to be in their position once in a while?” she asked. Subtly, she dropped the tablet into Luke’s drink. The pink casing soon began to dissolve in the foam of his beer, fizzing and spitting, before vanishing entirely. Luke didn’t seem to pay any attention, his eyes locked with Melissa’s.
“I guess you’re right”, Luke said, taking a swig of his drink. Melissa smiled, never having expected it to be this easy. “You still want to get coffee tomorrow? Maybe we can talk about it properly then”.
“Sure”, Melissa said, standing up from her place in the bar. “I’d like to see if you’ve had a change of heart. Have a good one, Luke”, she said, leaving the man behind.
Later, Luke finished the last of his drink, thinking on his friend’s words. The man tried to reason with himself: he didn’t go out of his way to treat women like this. It was just a by-product of his lifestyle. As he pondered, he knew deep down that it was a lifestyle that he had chosen, and that perhaps it was time to grow up. Luke headed home to a restless night of sleep.
Luke awoke the next morning and dragged himself out of bed. He had slept for hours but didn’t feel any less tired. He still felt like he was dreaming, blinking rapidly as his eyes tried to focus on his familiar bedroom. The man staggered to his bathroom and splashed some cold water on his face in an effort to wake himself up. Blearily he looked at his face in the mirror, but something felt off. It was the face he expected to see looking back at him, but Luke was certain that he looked different. In the sink, the last of his facial hair swirled around the plughole before vanishing entirely. Luke mumbled unthinkingly as he ran his knuckles against his jaw, feeling how smooth and soft his skin was.
“Did I shave last night?” he said to himself, struggling to believe what he was seeing. As he looked closer, there were no tell-tale signs of shaving, no stubborn missed hairs or tiny cuts. His hair had seemingly fallen out overnight. Luke looked over his body in the mirror and was shocked to see the same had been mirrored across his body. The hair across his arms had vanished entirely, the coarse hair on his chest gone. Running his hands along his bare legs, he found the same had happened – it was as if he had been perfectly, painlessly waxed in his sleep. Curious, Luke pulled his underwear down. While he tried to keep his manhood well pruned, now it was completely hairless, save for a patch just above his shaft. “What the fuck?” he said, still running his hands over his hairless body, as if trying to disprove what he was seeing. Luke realised through his inspection that he had slimmed down a little. Though never a body builder or overweight, something had clearly changed. He had lost weight and mass, his body looking leaner and skinnier. Luke tried to focus on what happened the night before. He remembered going out for drinks with Melissa, but he hadn’t drunk enough to forget what happened. After the bar he had simply called a taxi and come home, but from how his body looked it seemed that he had gone to a beauty salon and somehow embarked on a crash diet overnight. Instinctively, he tucked his hair behind his ear, then froze as he realised what he was doing. He had always kept his hair short, but somehow it had grown long enough to now come down over his ears. In the mirror he could see that it was turning blonde towards the tips, rather than his expected monotone brown. Luke could feel himself panicking. Nausea was rising in his stomach. He tried to convince himself that it was just a bad dream, that he was most likely still asleep and that he’d soon wake up with the body he knew.
Luke buried himself back under his covers, as if by hiding his body it would disappear from his mind. The sheets felt softer on his newly sensitive skin. He remembered that he was planning on meeting Melissa for coffee later but knew he couldn’t go out like this. He quickly dialled her number and she answered almost immediately.
“Hi Luke! How’s it going?” she said, cheerfully.
“Hey Melissa. I’m sorry but I don’t think I can make it to coffee later”, Luke said. He cleared his throat. His voice usually sounded deeper in the morning, but now it felt oddly high.
“Oh no! How come? Did you get on the shots after I left last night or something?” she said, teasing.
“No, I’m just not feeling well, that’s all”, Luke said bluntly. “I think I’m coming down with something.” There was a pause as Melissa seemed to process the news.
“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, Luke”, she said. “Do you want me to drop anything round? Medicine, food, that kind of thing?”
“No, no it’s fine, honestly.”
“Are you sure? I’m worried about you. It’s not like you to get sick!” she said, correctly. Luke tried to keep himself healthy, and a sudden sickness, let alone one that had had such strange effects, was practically unheard of.
“No, I’ll be okay. I’ll let you know when I feel better, okay?”
“Sure. Look after yourself, okay?” she said, before hanging up. Luke sighed as he sunk beneath the covers once more, tossing his phone on the side. Even though he annoyed Melissa the night before, she still cared about him. Luke made himself a mental note to try and apologise for his behaviour properly once he was feeling better. Still sleepy, Luke soon drifted off back to sleep.
Luke was awoken by heavy knocking at his door. With a groan, he rolled out of bed, noticing several missed calls from Melissa on his phone. He tossed on a dressing gown and headed downstairs, glancing in the mirror on his way and finding that his body still looked strange. He opened the door to find Melissa standing there, smiling. Behind her she pulled a suitcase.
“Oh, hey Melissa”, Luke said quietly, his voice still sounding uncomfortable to his ears. “I thought I said you didn’t need to come over?”
“I know, I just got worried! It’s so unlike you to get ill. What’s wrong?” she said, smiling. Although Luke had at first wanted to be left alone, the sight of Melissa filled him with hope. Something strange was happening, and he could do with being looked after.
“I’m not sure. My hair has all gone weird, and it’s like I’ve lost a bunch of weight”, Luke said, welcoming her in and closing the door behind them. Melissa looked closely at him, smiling slightly.
“You know, you don’t look unwell, just different”, she said with a smirk. I think the longer hair suits you. Maybe it’s just puberty, you know?” she said, laughing.
“I’m long past that. Something is up”, Luke continued. “But thanks for coming over”, he said, noticing the suitcase. “Are you planning on staying over?”
“If that’s okay?” Melissa said, smiling innocently. “I’ll sleep downstairs, I just want to make sure you’re feeling better.”
“Sure, that’s fine.” Luke said. “I’m going to get back to bed, if that’s okay. I’m feeling exhausted.”
“That’s fine, Luke. You get your beauty sleep”, she said cheekily. Luke rolled his eyes, returning upstairs and to his bed. He soon drifted off to sleep once more, while Melissa made herself at home.
The smell of cooking woke him up, hours later. He could see the sun was setting outside of his window. Luke had spent almost the whole day in bed but told himself he needed the rest. He still felt exhausted. Melissa opened his bedroom door and entered with a tray of food. The smell grew stronger – melting butter and a deeply savoury soup.
“I thought I’d make a quick chicken noodle soup. I found some nice bread too – I hope you don’t mind me raiding your fridge!” Melissa said, sitting down on the bed. Luke smiled, sitting up right.
“Thanks, Melissa”, Luke said, beginning to tuck in. As he slurped the soup, dipping in the bread to soak up the last of the stock, he realised how hungry he was. “I wanted to say sorry, about last night”, Luke said. “I was acting like a dick. I’m going to try do better, okay?”
“It’s fine, Luke”, Melissa said, stroking his longer hair gently. “I just want you feeling better, that’s all. I had a quick tidy downstairs. I don’t want you overworking yourself. I’ll look after you, okay?” Luke nodded in agreement. He couldn’t remember the last time anyone had ever taken care of him. He was used to living his life alone, without this kind of companionship.
Soon, Melissa cleared away the food. “There’s a little bit more colour in your cheeks”, she said. “How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay, I guess. I just don’t quite feel like myself.”
“I’m sure you’ll be feeling normal again in no time”, Melissa said optimistically. “Just get some rest, okay?” She tucked Luke back into bed and headed back downstairs. With the food warming him inside and out, Luke found it easy to drift back off to sleep.
The next morning, Luke was feeling more rested than he anticipated. He took a deep breath, relieved. He got out of bed and went to the bathroom. Just as he finished peeing, Luke gasped in shock as he noticed his manhood had reduced in size. It was now tiny, the length of his little finger. He prodded and poked at it in shock, only able to stop when he noticed further changes. The weight loss from the day before seemed to have continued, but now rather than just reducing in size, his body was building fat in more localised areas. A small bulk was amassed around his rear, giving his once flat behind some gentle curves. On his shrunken chest, fat had built beneath his nipples, creating budding breasts. As he fingers brushed against them, he gasped as he felt how sensitive they were. Looking in the mirror, he realised his hair had grown longer still, now brushing his slimmer shoulders. His face had lost most of its masculine features – his square jawline was lessened as his chin became more pointed. His cheekbones had adjusted as he slept, giving his whole face a more rounded, feminine look.
“What’s happening to me…” Luke asked incredulously as he stared at the androgynous figure looking back at him. His voice had grown even higher, his tone now soft and delicate.
“Luke, are you okay?” Melissa repeated as she knocked on the door of the bathroom. “I’ve been saying your name for ages now – what’s going on?”
Luke tore his eyes away from the mirror, wrapping a towel around his body and trying to ignore how strangely sensitive it felt to the fabric’s touch. Reluctantly, he brought it higher than he usually would, covering his nipples which now felt unusually exposed with the mass of fat beneath them. Sheepishly, he opened the door.
“Hey, Melissa”, he said, unable to look at her.
“Oh my God, Luke! What’s going on? Did that all happen while you slept?” she said, surprised.
“I guess so. I think I’m not done changing…” he responded, his voice trailing off.
“It’s like your hormones are completely flipping around…” Melissa said, thinking back to the pill that fizzed into Luke’s drink only the night before. She had never expected the effects to be so pronounced, or so sudden.
“What should we do?” Luke asked, nervous.
“I’m not sure. What would you like to do? It’s your body that’s changing, not mine.”
“I don’t know. It’s just all happening so quickly.”
“It’s like you’re going through puberty again, or something”, she suggested. Melissa looked Luke over. The once boisterous man was now reduced to a shy, delicate person, rapidly losing any sense of his masculinity. “You know, I’m actually surprised how much it suits you.” Melissa said, smiling.
“Suits me?” Luke repeated, shocked. He met her eyes for the first time that morning, and Melissa grinned.
“Yeah! It might feel strange, but I think it’s a good look. You’re kind of cute!” Luke quickly looked away on that final word. He could feel himself flushing red with embarrassment. Melissa walked back over to the door. “Why don’t you get yourself ready? I’ll make us some breakfast and we can work out what to do. I thought maybe we could just spend today chilling out and watching films, does that sound good?”
“Yeah. I’d like that”, Luke said, glad to have something to distract him.
“Great. I’ll see you downstairs in a bit!” Melissa said, heading out of the bedroom and leaving Luke alone.
He tried to steady his nerves, daring to take another look in the mirror. Maybe Melissa was right? Maybe he could ride out the changes and see what would happen, even if they did feel strange or scary. He went over to the wardrobe, finding an old t-shirt to slip on. It was now far too big for him, the sleeves coming down to his forearms and the bottom of the shirt just barely covering his crotch. As he slipped on a pair of his usually comfortable, loose boxers, he realised that they didn’t fit. Slowly, he opened the door and called downstairs to Melissa.
“Melissa, weird question-“ he said, trying to work out the best way to phrase it. “Can I, maybe, borrow some of your underwear? It’s just that mine don’t seem to fit any more and I-“
“Of course!” Melissa said, interrupting his babbling. “I’ll bring some up in a second.”
Soon, she had placed a pair outside Luke’s door before disappearing back downstairs. He picked them up, his now small hands shaking softly. The panties felt tiny, a soft pink lacey pair that he was at once anxious but excited to try on. Sitting back on the bed, Luke pulled them up. They covered his shrunken manhood perfectly, with only the slightest hint of a bulge visible. They were more comfortable than he expected, walking a few steps in his bedroom and finding that they were cosy and supportive.
Downstairs, Melissa had been frying up a breakfast. As Luke descended the stairs slowly, he could smell the dark coffee brewing and hear the hissing and popping of fat in a frying pan.
“Thanks for cooking, Melissa”, Luke said, taking a seat and beginning to eat his breakfast. “And thanks for the underwear, too”. Melissa smiled, pouring a cup of coffee for Luke. He felt swamped by his old t-shirt, but glad that it covered his body. He was almost afraid to look at it.
“Don’t mention it. I’m here as long as you need me”, Melissa said, plating up her own portion. “How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay, I think”, Luke said between mouthfuls. “I’m kind of coming to terms with it.”
“That’s good!” Melissa said enthusiastically. “Just know that I’m here to look after you no matter what you decide is the best course of action, okay?”
“Thanks, Melissa”, Luke said. “I’m scared of what’s going to happen next, but I’m also a little curious, you know?” he continued, taking a sip of his coffee. The bitter drink tasted different as it passed through his smaller, poutier lips. “But maybe this change does suit me, like you say. Maybe I should start getting used to it?”
“I think that’s a good philosophy. It should help you get through this change as painlessly as possible. Who knows? It might not even last forever.” Luke took another sip of his drink, thinking. As much as his appearance that morning had shocked him, there was a part of him that didn’t mind how he looked. Had it been lurking underneath his masculine surface all this time, just waiting for a chance to get out?
“What can I do to help?” Melissa asked.
“Do you think you could start to show me stuff? Girl stuff, I mean. Make-up, hair, that sort of thing?” Melissa smiled excitedly.
“Of course! I’d love to, Luke!” she said. “It’ll be like a slumber party!”
“I don’t want to rush into anything, though.”
“Absolutely!” Melissa said. “We’ll go at your own pace, I promise!”
After breakfast, while Luke loaded the dishwasher, Melissa assembled a whole toolkit worth of hair products and brushes. “So, do you know the difference between shampoo and conditioner? That’s probably a good place to start.”
“Sorry, I don’t”, Luke said. He thought back to the all in one shower wash he had been using for years – he had never needed to do anything fancy with his hair, and the plethora of products Melissa had arranged seemed far too complex for him.
“Don’t apologise! You’re learning!” Melissa said delightedly. Luke had never seen her so animated before. “Let’s take this slow.”
Over several hours, Melissa educated Luke on all things hair. She went over the different products, the different hair types, and the different brushes to use. She explained to him the benefits of natural oils and even how his diet could impact the vibrancy and health of his hair. Luke had been vaguely aware of a lot of it, but he realised that his relationships with women had been mostly surface level. He had never sat with a girlfriend in the morning as she went through her hair routine or helped buy new products. Now, he was feeling confident, and able to put Melissa’s teaching into practise with his own hair.
“Could we try makeup, too?” he asked as Melissa packed away the hair products. “Or do you think I’m moving too fast?”
“Not at all!” Melissa said. “I’ve brought my stuff with me, but you’re welcome to use it! I’ll show you how.”
Melissa hadn’t yet put on her usual face of makeup. It was rare that Luke had seen her without it, though now he considered that Melissa seemed far more comfortable around him and that she was able to let her guard down. “I’ve got a few foundations that might match your skin tone – let’s start there!”
Slowly, Luke and Melissa put on their makeup together. Though the brushes and tools felt strange and unfamiliar in Luke’s hands, he was gradually getting used to them. Layer by layer, he was understanding better how to highlight his features and cover simple blemishes. He found that he was strangely enjoying the process, like gradually painting a living portrait. Melissa handed him some simple lip gloss, and after applying it to his puckered lips Luke looked in her small mirror. If his face this morning was androgynous, now after the makeup had been applied, he was undoubtedly feminine. He couldn’t help but smile, turning to Melissa.
“What do you think?” he asked.
“You look beautiful”, Melissa said, genuinely. Luke noticed her staring at his lips, now shining from the gloss. The woman licked her own, and quickly looked away, blushing. Luke laughed awkwardly. Had Melissa been about to kiss him?
“Let’s watch some films!” Melissa said quickly, trying to move on and change the subjects.
“Sounds like a plan!”
Luke had a library of action and sports films which he had worked his way through over bored evenings, sometimes with friends but often alone. Out of her suitcase, Melissa produced a stack of cheesy romantic comedies.
“What about these?” she asked. Luke was hesitant, but with all the other changes that he had gone through, he thought to give them a try.
“Let’s do it!” he said enthusiastically.
With a cosy blanket covering them, Melissa and Luke began to watch. Initially, Luke couldn’t get into the first film – the plotline felt too unrealistic and predictable. From the first scene he was already guessing who the girl would end up with. But, by the second, he stopped caring. The film was not meant to be deep or meaningful. It was a relief, a reprieve from the mundanity of the day to day. Soon, he found himself laughing as much as Melissa was. Once, during a tender moment on the screen, Luke felt their hands touch, before their finger meekly curled around each other. Though a tiny movement, he could feel a wave of excitement building in him and hoped that Melissa was feeling the same. After some takeaway food and another film, the night was drawing to a close.
“I think I might head to bed”, Luke said, somewhat scared but curious as to how his body would change by the morning.
“Do you want something to wear? Rather than that old shirt, I mean”, Melissa said, rummaging through her suitcase. She produced a shimmering negligee, holding it out to Luke. Slowly, he took it from her.
“Thanks, Melissa. I’ll see you in the morning.”
“Goodnight!” she replied, waving softly to him as he headed upstairs.
Luke lay awake in bed. New thoughts were coming into his mind. He had never seen Melissa act with him how she had that evening. She had made clear from the time they had first met that she wasn’t interested in men, but now it seemed that Luke’s changes had prompted a change in her, too. He got out of bed, looking at his nude body in the mirror once more. Strangely, he found that he didn’t miss the large, masculine body he had had before. He felt smaller, more delicate, but oddly enjoyed the sensation. If his body was going through changes, perhaps it was time to embrace who he truly was? Luke snuggled back up in bed, excited as to how he would look when he woke.
The next morning, Luke awoke smiling. Pulling down the top of the negligee, he saw that his breasts had grown larger, now filling out the cups as if the nightwear was made for him. As he went to the bathroom, he saw what he had been hoping for. His manhood had vanished entirely. A vagina was in its place. Luke looked himself over. There was nothing left of his old self. Even his hair had grown longer, and he took great pride in pulling it into a high ponytail, just as Melissa had told him the day before. His face was that of a young, beautiful woman, and the rest of his body matched. Looking at his gorgeous reflection, he knew he had made the right choice. Excitedly, he opened the bedroom door and called down to Melissa.
“Melissa! Come look!” he said, his voice now a soft, excitable soprano. Melissa practically bounded up the stairs, coming to the door to see Luke, now fully transformed.
“Luke! You look incredible!” she said, her mouth open in shock. “Is everything-“
“Everything has changed. I feel fantastic!” he said, beaming.
“I’m so glad!” Melissa said, cuddling him. As Melissa embraced him, Luke felt strangely warm throughout his whole body.
“Though, I guess I can’t call you Luke anymore, can I?” she said.
“What about Lucy?” Luke said, pulling out of the hug for a moment. He had spent the night dreaming up his new life, his new name, everything.
“Lucy. I like that!” Melissa said. Lucy grinned.
“I’m so happy, Melissa! I’ve never felt this way before!” she said, almost bouncing with joy. Melissa could only smile.
“I’m so happy, too”, she said, moving closer to Lucy. Her hand went around her waist, and their lips were less than an inch apart. Lucy hadn’t realised how much she had wanted this all this time. Tenderly, she leaned closer, and the two kissed for the first time.
Their soft lips brushed against one another. Inquisitively, Lucy’s lips parted, and Melissa’s tongue slid in, warm and wet. Melissa held her closer, and Lucy felt her whole body giving into the sensation. She was safe in Melissa’s arms, and wanted nothing more.
“Melissa-“ Lucy said, parting for a moment, only to be shushed by the woman.
“Don’t worry. We’ll go as slow as you want”, she whispered. Melissa’s soft voice was soothing for Lucy. She wanted this forever, to be held by her lover while hearing that voice in her ear.
“I’ve not explored all the changes yet…” Lucy said, her eyes moving towards the bed. Melissa bit her lip, looking deeply into Lucy’s eyes.
“Perhaps I can help with that?” she said seductively. The two women moved to the bed, giggling excitedly.
Lucy lay beneath her, the weight of Melissa pushing down on her as they kissed passionately. Melissa’s lips moved to her neck, and she heard herself moaning softly in her new voice as with each kiss a new level of pleasure bloomed. Melissa eventually rolled off of her, laying alongside the woman. Her fingers traced circles around the inside of Lucy’s thighs. With no words needing to be spoken, Lucy nodded, soon gasping as Melissa’s fingers began to touch and tease her new organ. Melissa moved slowly, her fingers moving within the folds of Lucy’s womanhood until it found the centre of her pleasure. Slowly, she began to rub at it. Lucy sighed, her breathing shaky with the sensation. She reached out to grope at Melissa breasts, but the woman moved her hand away. She leaned in closer, her mouth brushing against her ear.
“There will be enough time for that later, Lucy. Let’s start with you first”, she said teasingly, ramping up the speed and pressure on Lucy’s clitoris. With each minute movement, a wave of pleasure was washing over her, the tiniest of movements causing the most dramatic of effects. Slowly, Melissa moved her hand away. She stuck her longer fingers inside of her mouth, licking at the juices, staring at Lucy. “Mind if I have a taste?” she said, already knowing the answer.
“Please…” Lucy said between pleasured breaths. She spread her legs apart as Melissa moved further down, and soon her tongue was lapping at the same spot that was screaming out in pleasure. Lucy was lost. She had never expected it to feel this good, nerves across her whole body burning with desire. She wanted to stay in this world forever, just herself and Melissa, two lovers exploring their own bliss. A tension was rising within her. Her breath grew quicker, barely able to mumble out a quiet “More”, to Melissa as the woman licked and sucked with vigour. Lucy could feel her whole body tensing, and then there was an almighty sensation of release. The orgasm burst from her sex, shooting through her body. Her toes curled up as she sighed softly, her fingertips gripping onto the bedsheet or Melissa’s hair, anything to desperately give an outlet to the energy that was coursing through them. She slowly opened her eyes, finding Melissa beside her.
That night, Lucy was wrapped up in Melissa’s arms, safe and sound as the smaller spoon. She stared at the clock on her bedside table, watching the minutes go by. How many minutes did her and Melissa have together in their new lives? How many moments of laughter and love between them? She rolled over, gently planting a kiss on Melissa’s forehead before settling down to go to sleep. Whatever the future held, she was glad she had Melissa at her side to face it.
