2022-05-09 04:22:53 +0000 UTCI downloaded MPC-HC and it runs fine. The 4k version was crashing vlc and the lower res ones were giving me pixelation. Thanks for the reply and sorry for the trouble.

It seems that there is some kind of hardware and/or software incompatibility with the version of the encoder I used for the original. I originally used H264, but a very high version of it that might not be supported by some media players.
