Hi everyone!
We're back with fresh development news for Tame It Too! v0.10.0 and things are moving at full speed! Let’s dive into the progress.

The core building mechanics are now in the polishing and internal testing phase! We're buiding various house prototypes to ensure:
Seamless connections between all structural parts;
Smooth indoor movement;
Dynamic lighting that changes with time of day.
Indoor lighting has been a particular challenge, not just for practicality, but to nail that cozy, lived-in feel (which matters just as much as functionality!).
We ramped up work on the combat system last week as your first enemy encounters are coming very soon in the next update! We’ve made solid progress, but there’s still plenty to refine before this system goes live.

We’ve drafted key sketches for Octa’s upcoming scene, which will guide posing and animation. This’ll be an interactive scene with multiple action choices, but fair warning: animating Octa is tricky (her design is our most complex!). Rest assured though, the result will be worth the effort!

With major landmarks placed, we’re now focusing on:
Small points of interest to spice up exploration;
3D modeling for each planned interactable object;
Final placement in-game.
These touches will make the valley feel alive and rewarding to explore!
One of the largest cutscenes of the next chapter is now in the works! Last week, we finished all its visual assets and now it’s time to stitch it together in-engine as a comic-style sequence. Goal: wrap this one this week and jump straight to the next!
