Our work is in full swing! Every day we're getting closer to our goal and that's very exciting 💪
Today's news will be short, as we keep working on the same things we told you about last week. We're in the final stretch of drawing the story scenes. When they're ready, we'll get to work on animations for the key scenes.
Active work is underway on the hot scene that will conclude the first chapter. Tomorrow we will start animating the first part of that scene. A lot has been done on the UI and mechanics of the minigame. All the work done has been uploaded into the build and tested.
Pretty soon we'll start adding texts to the game, but for now the new dialog engine we are integrating is being tested.
This week we'll get to work on creating the Intro and Outro, which have undergone changes from the original idea due to story development and changes in the visual presentation.
All in all, we're flying full steam ahead toward the announcement, which is tentatively scheduled for the end of this month. But as we've said before, we won't officially announce the new game until we have the first build almost ready and will be in the testing and polishing stage.
Public voting ends this week, which means that quite soon you'll have a post about the results, for which we'll prepare some delicious and hot holiday art! 😋
Today we want to show you some frames from the scene that will be in the (non)trivial Intro. The graphics style is not final, we're still experimenting and looking for the style which would be perfect for this game, but anyway we want to show you what we got. A few more shots, continuing the scene, will be available soon for $5+ patrons.
