I had planned to focus on posting my past works from mid-June, but the anime I was watching while working was so inspiring that I ended up creating a brand-new piece in a burst of motivation.

Because the production period was quite short, the text and voice parts are only in the first four minutes. However, I focused on making the entire work into a video, so I hope you’ll enjoy the second half for its atmosphere—almost like a music video. (I also designed the title image to look like a CD jacket.)

6月の中頃から過去作品の投稿を頑張ろうと思っていたのですが、作業中に観ていたアニメがとても良かったので、その勢いで新作を一気に作り上げてしまいました。

製作期間が短かったため、テキストとボイスは冒頭の4分程度しかありませんが、全編を動画にこだわったので、後半はミュージックビデオのような雰囲気で楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。（タイトル画像もCDジャケット風に仕上げてみました。）

Synopsis Leaving behind the bustle of the city, two high school boys arrive at a rural station for their summer vacation. On an afternoon filled with the sounds of cicadas, they pitch their tent and crack open cans of beer, sharing trivial conversations— Moments that seem ordinary, yet are utterly irreplaceable. For the protagonist, his best friend transforms into a “losing heroine”—a character who never finds happiness. With sweet and awkward gestures never shown before— “How did you know it was me?” “Because that character was in the novel you lent me.” The protagonist finds himself drawn to his friend’s secret power of mimicry. It’s a strange game, tinged with a bittersweet affection. Before long, new feelings begin to well up in his heart—feelings he’d never truly recognized before. “Maybe…the one I truly cared for wasn’t the heroine, but you.” Night deepens. Within the silent tent, as their bodies and hearts come together, the tent shakes with every embrace— and the summer night overflows with secrets and passion.

あらすじ 都会の喧騒を離れ、ふたりの高校生が夏休みの田舎駅に降り立つ。ひぐらしの声が響く午後、テントを張り、ビール缶を開けながら交わすたわいもない会話―― それは、どこにでもあるようで、どこにもない、かけがえのない時間だった。主人公のために“負けヒロイン”のキャラクターへと姿を変えた親友。普段は見せない、甘く不器用な仕草―― 「どうして私の正体がわかったの？」「だって、お前のキャラ、貸してくれた小説に出てただろ。」親友が密かに持つ「他者変身」の力に主人公は惹かれていく。奇妙で、どこか切なくも愛しいごっこ遊び。次第に主人公の胸には、本当に求めていたものへの想いが溢れはじめる。「俺が好きだったのは、ヒロインじゃなく……お前だったのかもしれない。」夜が深まり、静寂に包まれたテントの中―― ふたりの身体と心が重なり合うたび、テントは激しく揺れ、夏の夜は、秘密と情熱で満たされていく。
