[EXCLUSIVE ACCESS]: November 2022 VOCALOID Illustration/Comic

There is a popular mobile game called Project SekaI: Colorful Stage! where the Crypton Vocaloids are featured. Within each group (“sekai”/world), each VOCALOID has a different appearance, character dynamic, and personality that reflects the sekai they’re in.

I’ve always wanted to draw Vivid Bad Squad (top 2 panels) and Leo/ Need (Bottom 2) Kaito! In this comic I wanted to show the difference in character dynamic between the Kaito and MEIKO of those respective Sekais. In VBS, Kaito is a bit aloof and silly, which makes MEIKO chide him a lot for his childishness. On the other hand, L/N Kaito is super shy and would rather “communicate” by playing his guitar. The MEIKO from that world is more playful and has been seen putting bow ties in Kaito’s hair in an official comic.

I do not play Project Sekai, so a lot of these semi-canon interactions are based off of clips, screenshots, comics, and fanart 😊💙❤️
