Samurai Ciri before/after image example!

Hello my Sweethearts!
I was following the voting process with interest. I want to thank each of you, who found time and gave your vote for desireable poll.
I was sure that we end up with a draw. And no wonder - it was hard decision to make, because both photoshoots feature the same model, and on preview photo seemingly offer same "experience" (which is not of course).

I think, it's time to close voting, because we have more or less distinctive winner. The project we'll be working on in November is Aerith pt.2 - more than 18 beautiful photos await for post-production process and to be send to you. There definately will be more images comparing to pt.1, and most importantly - small plot will be more visible. )

Before I'll start sharing with updates from part 2, I prepared small comparison insight from Samurai Ciri photoshoot. Some of you already shared, that you liked this kind of insight posts, and I'm happy to show new one.

As you see, final image was formed after merging two images. I took head and parts of background from sample 1. Sample 2 was base for "action" part - leaves placing and body positioning. Of course with certain adjustments. Like always with shots depending on timing, it is not easy to get perfect pattern.
Technically we used three sample images. Third one was source for leaves and clothes pattern, so I decided not to include here, because how little was taken. For example, upper part of the image. )
If I remember correctly, it took us 7 attempts on set to get desireable shot. In the end I still needed to piece it together. )

Not visible changes, as always, will be skin retouch. Making it smooth, shiny and without tattoos. Good thing it was our old Canon 5D Mark II and open exposure. Amount of details is lower, comapring to projects shot on current camera. So, it is a bit easier to work on old material. )
