Samurai Ciri update progress!

September is almost over, so I wanted to celebrate it with somehting beautiful - fresh photo from Samurai Ciri photoshoot.
The project is currently completed by 60%, rest 40% consists of dressed photos, which are easier to handle and won't take much time until completion. If my predictions are correct, I'll start sending rewards at the begining of the next week. )
Besides our Main photoshoot I haven't shown what will await you as your Special. Well this one will be quite unexpected to you, but I'll save it for my last prereward post. All I say for now, you saw versions of this project. And this special beares special meaning behind it.
September became very reminiscent month to me, so all projects reflect it )
I like the shot. This image reflects one of the main ideas we wanted to incorporate - "Gal is the Blade". Sounds too pretencious, but humans use weapons, not the other way. If you can see power behind (or "spirit") the character's actions and posture, you can believe that he is force to recon with.
It is hard to show it with photos. Unless you have huge amount of experience, which we don't have (and this is not humbleness). And it needs expressive models, which is none of our models.
That's why we went with basic approach. Bolder and more forward the idea, easier it is to work. Example: "Shirtless gal looks exactly like Unsceath blade. To make it work, let's show both in one frame. And importantly, the pose should remind of the blade's shape".
Technically, this is how we worked 1,5 year ago. )
Hope, it was intetersting. Weekend is almost here, even so don't overwork yourself too much. )
